kb aint had a drop yet. lots of people think he would be be a good fit for cam.

He would be. Just turned 23 too, which I needed to say since I've finally dug up enough willpower to sign in after watching the same typical poster spread false info about his age and other trivial crap the past couple weeks.

WEAKNESSES: Lacks ideal size with below average height and length for the position. Limited strength, muscle and overall growth potential. Struggles with physical defenders and doesn't have ideal body strength - will be overwhelmed in man coverage. Looks to avoid contact and would much rather escape out of bounds or go around defenses. Needs to secure the ball through the process to eliminate drops and fumbles. Smallish target for quarterbacks.

COMPARES TO: Tavon Austin, St. Louis Rams - Cooks is a slightly bigger, not as fast version of Austin due to explosive feet, open-field moves and natural athleticism that makes him a home-run threat whenever he touches the ball.

I don't see some of those when I watch him, he goes up and gets the ball. Runs people over when it's needed, doesn't mind making contact down the field in jump ball situations. Other then that, pretty much the same dings against Smitty when he came out.

yeah he just turned 23 earlier this month, but he looks really smooth in the drills.

but on Cooks, he does have the abilty to play the X because he runs really well routes and high points the ball well.

Let's don't forget Abbrederis...gets overlooked because of the depth at the WR position this year.  Would be perfect in the 3rd if he is still available.  And so far has had a great combine.

1st Round - Benjamin

2nd Round - OL/DB

3rd Round - Abbrederis

???  I think I'd be happy with this.

We have 0 WR blockers on our team, Lafell was our best blocker and he's likely gone. People were on Alshon Jeffery ass for being slow and likely to flop in NFL. Look at him now. He uses his body well to catch almost everything throw his way.

That was from Brugler at CBS Sports.

I'm just saying that there's obviously a perception by at least some out there that he definitely isn't Smitty and is more Austin.

I'll pass at 28.

    • I'm going to be real, the reason that vote ended up so lop-sided by the end was directly due to my programming. So there's nothing tongue in cheek about it. Also I left PFF after the Collinsworth acquisition (didn't want to move to Cincy) but have stayed involved in analytics via backdoor channels, but I can absolutely say that the experience was eye-opening, not because those guys are unquestionable football savants and that I became one by proxy, but because the amount of information that becomes available outside of what the typical fan has access to is revelatory and also really drives home how much context is still being missed even with all of that information. You don't discover that you know everything, you discover how much you still can't know no matter how hard you try, hence my point about the NFL not being able to figure out what makes a QB good. There's a lot of AI work going into that now and even that only seems to further confuse things vs. actually enlighten the problem. In the professional realm teams don't really talk about quarterbacks as A strictly being better than B, but how A can potentially perform better than B given a specific context of C. Of course those contexts may be wider for A than B, but there's also contexts where B can outshine A, even with lesser talent surrounding them. So what good teams strive to do is ultimately define a process of how they want their entire team to operate under schematically, find players that fit that scheme, and hopefully find a guy whose skillset will be maximized running that scheme with those players. Where bad teams fall of the wagon is constantly shifting those schemes and chasing bad fits or fads vs. sticking with a core identity and developing it.
    • there is a 100 mile long list of NFL players and coaches going to bat and defending horrible play from teammates.
    • In 6 games, we've only had 6 hurries??? ... that can't be accurate
