A reach by what standard? Preliminary? Kugbila hasn't even played a down in a regular season game yet. Draft discussions are over. Now it is about production. He could end up as anything from a bust to a hall of famer at this point. No one has a clue.

 

I wouldn't worry about "reaching." Gettleman has already stressed that his tactic is BPA. Plus I would rather take a chance on a reach in the 4th than in Rounds 1-3.

 

Kugbilla was a gifted developmental player. When a developmental player doesn't play or practice his rookie season there is reason to expect the worst case scenario.

Exactly.  Then you have guys like former Wake Forest LB Aaron Curry who is labeled as a can't miss prospect and the "safest pick in the draft" and ends up going #4 overall and... BUUUUUUUUST!!!

Uhhhh... Kouandjio will likely struggle as a LT at the next level simply because he lacks the agility to handle speed rushers. He's better suited for the RT position to be honest. So, he's flawed too. Lewan, Matthews and Robinson are possibly the best LTs in this draft.

 

I really don't see that. His feet seems fine -- good even. Are you sure you're not thinking about Morgan Moses?

He played T in college but projects to a G due to his height (I assume)--Long Arms and big hands though, so he could be a nice T in my limited opinion.

He is pretty raw and not so mobile based on the tape I've viewed. Two weeks ago he was projected in the 5th or 6th round...not really sure how or why he shot up the rankings so fast.

thomas is like many others in this draft could go anywhere form 2nd(late) to 5th(early). a few things and hes there or falling.

 

 

any player picked at 28, will have questions/flaws. i would gladly take a flawed lewan, kouandjio, evans, ebron, gilbert, bejamin, or lee at 28.

 

 

my only beef with the draft, is the iants are picking before us..... god i hate that! we stuck it to them last year and they have similar needs at OL, WR, and CBs. They could easy ruin half the draft for the panthers..... micky is a legit gm too......

Thomas with 35 reps at 225 with basically 35 " arms is impressive.  It don't tell you if he can play but upper body strength like that don't hurt.
