Depends who over? I like him but I don't see he's gona be a #1 down the line like a Lee or Evans, and i would pick a real good corner first who should be at #28, I expect Matthews goes early second round it will be before we pick at #60.

do  we not draft a WR unless they are on Evan's or Lee's level? at where we pick in the second (which is where he was mocked to us) round, thats about as good as we are going to get. we have to be realistic about who we get and we can't afford to say as good as lee or evans or bust.

we have to upgrade at WR and we cant wait until the next megatron or aj green falls into our lap.

Depends who's there, I honestly wouldn't say no though he's good would be a great #2 down the line, just think maybe Lee or someone will slip this year, have a feeling teams will pick for need not BPA and we may wind up with a top WR or CB or TE, I'm also hoping we tag and trade hardy so we can possibly have more picks.

Agreed I wasn't high on Mathews before the combine because I wanted a guy who can be a true # 1 (his 40 time was projected to be 4.6 range) he is 6-3 had big hands a huge catching radius and 4.44 speed...

I don't see how people don't think he can be a #1

This is the same guy that was requesting tape for the DBs he would be going against in the senior bowl. He's got the attitude we need he'll grow alongside Cam and be a nice weapon for him.

Exact .

He has good speed, good size, big hands, great work ethic, and runs the entire route tree.

After his 40 time, he became my second favorite WR in the draft.....after Hopkins of course.

Matthews is also one of the few WRs wo strung out consecutive Great seasons against tough defenses. No one year flash for Matthews. He just does not have that Tavon Austin highlight reel so guys are Yawn!

He is like the Tim Duncan of the WRs..the great fundemental.

Id still have Benjiman ahead of him but if we could get a CB/OL guy we like in the first and still could snag Matthews it would be incredible.

Matthews will go wayy earlier than anyone projects as the draft gets closer. Id say not past 2.15

Yeah he would be the perfect back-up here but i would rather him try and become a starter somewhere.

As long as he is in the league, i'll be happy cause he is just a winner and has improved his passing every year. I mean he only threw ONE Int last year. That's crazy.

I think a team like Arizona will pull the trigger on Shaw a few roundes earlier than he's supposed to go ala Russel Wilson.
