I like Ryan Clark, but I liked Mitchell better. It certainly won't hurt, but he's up there...

 

Our niche in FA this year is going to be find old players who have 1 good year left.  They can still play....but no one is going to sign them long term.

 

It's rinse, wash, repeat.....same thing as last year.

He'd also give the Panthers a mouthpiece on ESPN. I know I know every one hates ESPN by it can't hurt having extra coverage of the Panthers in my eyes. I also think he'd be a great addition working under the assumption that we'll draft another safety in the later rounds. He'd be a great mentor for Lester also.

35 is pretty old for a safety, we saw how quickly Charles Woodson lost steps.
