I am not sure that I suggested we have underpaid anyone.  We have signed a few players (Rams TE, Harper, etc) but this is not a timed event.  Do you remember when we signed Mitchell last year?  Did anyone get excited?

I did. I miss having NFL players at every position. Too bad players hate Gettleman so much they won't sign here.

which brings us to the point of....why exactly is everyone crying about them leaving? if they were CFL calibre and out produced by a tiny ass slot receiver who disappeared, then they weren't worth keeping in the first place.

I may be alone here but I didn't want everyone gone, just pushed back on depth chart. Let Lafell go, sign Ginn (3.3 mil ain't bad) you're paying Smitty anyway so keep him, and put him in the slot. Give Nicks his one year deal and draft a WR in rounds 1 or 2.

Couldn't be happier Captain is gone. I think I can sum up his long story fairly accurately. Captain is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is and his embarrassment of a performance that he had against SF sealed his fate in Carolina. Paying 5 million a year for a nickel back is a joke. Everyone hates Carolina right? Everyone is leaving for some secret reason right? Funny how Greg Hardy is the only player to have accepted the franchise tag with no problems or issues. You would think since it is so awful as Captain is describing, then Greg Hardy would act like every other player who receives that tag. At the end of the day the Panthers only issues are the salary cap and they didn't value some of these players as much. Good riddance Captain, you are one of the very few players in all of the NFL I will strongly root against.
