Kuechly & Lotulelei both fell in our lap... it could happen...

This is a good idea for a thread, and I appreciate the fact that you shared these drafts.  If we could look at players who could drop to us in the first round---

Eric Ebron:  I keep hearing that he is a top 15 pick, but TEs are sometimes lost in the scramble for QBs, OTs, DEs, Wrs, etc.  He could be there.

Zack Martin:  He is sort of a tweener between a T and a G, but he is a great player.  I would take him, plug him in at LT from day 1.  Richardson and Cyrus recently dropped due to knee concerns, however, so I expect Martin to be the 4th T off the board.  Could be there.

Marqise Lee:  A solid WR from USC, where we have found our highest WR draft picks to date (that is sorta funny).

There are more, but I am out of time....

No way this happens

Anything is possible...

2012-

"How did Kuechly fall to us?"

2013-

"STOP MAKING STAR THREADS HE'LL BE LONG GONE"

I would be very unhappy with Moses at 28. That is a reach if I've ever seen one. And I wouldn't hope for someone to fall into our lap again. It COULD happen, but we better not be relying on something like that.

A "reach" for us in this draft may be inevitable.  We could always go BPA and take Dee Ford (like I've mentioned before).  If we have to "reach", I would probably reach for Benjamin and hope like hell that he isn't Stephen Hill.

A lot will depend upon workouts.

There's a lot of WRs that wouldn't be a reach at 28, including Benjamin. Benjamin's risky but getting him at 28 would be good value. One of the top 6 or 7 WRs will fall to us and it wouldn't be a reach.

Perhaps I have been reading too many scouting reports and opinions this season, but the only WRs that have been consistently getting love in the first round are Watkins, Evans, Lee, Cooks, Beckham and Benjamin.  With some of the mocks though, I've been seeing them gone by the 28th.  I only see one of the last four dropping, if that.  Though some may grade Matthews or Landry higher, they are getting a lot of second round grades. At least more than the others.
