Watch the entire video. She pulls up by the white delivery truck and slows down, effectively blocking him from passing. After a minute and a half, a slower car blocks the delivery truck and he passes. I think that's when he sees that she was filming it all.

 

I wonder when the cops are gonna issue her tickets?

As funny as that seems, and as shitty of a driver as my wife is... it's really not.

 

It's mainly people (as Johnny Rockets described) just being complete assholes, oblivious to other drivers around them.

How much focus and attention did it take to keep the guy in view on her phone?

How about not making a bad situation worse, and gtfo of the guy's way?

 

Road rage is a problem, but road vigilantes don't make things any better.

She could just as easily been in an accident, and harmed someone else on the road because she had to get that guy on film.

I will admit that I am an aggressive driver and tend to drive on the fast side if conditions permit but I really feel like I am one of the safer drivers on the road. Sure I may drive fast and brake hard but why own sports cars if you aren't going to drive them like one?

 

  I am constantly checking all my mirrors and thinking what I am going to do 4 steps from what is currently going on. I don't know how many deer I have avoided simply because I was expecting them to jump out in front of me.  I don't get distracted  and never look at my phone or rarely even answer it when driving. I can't stand people that are oblivious to the world around them and that doesn't just pertain to driving.   

 

 

Of course if Karma really is a b*tch, I will probably get in 3 accidents and kill 12 deer on my way home from work today.

The opposite thing happened to me in Chapel Hill.  I was in the lady's position and got out of the assholes way.  When the asshole flew by me I proceeded to mouth the words "fug you!"  in her direction when I turned my head to noticed traffic at a complete stop and proceeded to give a friendly, tire screeching bump to the guy in front of me.  Made me look like a dumbass.

I'm usually aggressive as hell on the road (in a safe manner, or unless my kids are in the car) but if someone comes flying up on me and obviously wants me to get over, I figure they are in some kind of imminent danger or are about to put someone else in danger... So I will move over if the lane next to me is open.

 

Ride my ass just because you want to on a two lane road, especially if I am already doing 10 or so over (which I try to do normally), then I am gonna do my best to make it a pretty miserable experience for you because you've channeled my inner asshole-incredible-hulk-alter ego. That doesn't make me right at all, and it will probably come back to haunt me one day, but tbqhidgaf.

 

My list of road rage triggers is pretty lengthy... Ultimately, though... it isn't worth it.

For nearly the first 40 seconds or so of the video, there's nobody in the left lane (*unless they're right beside the cell phone driver). If so, and you see a line of cars ahead...put your blinker on, slow down, move over. Making the effort to show the truck driver you're getting over...problem solved. Instead, she decides to pull out her camera and hold it up, showing him she's recording (shitty and unsafe move). She's going between 55 and 60 it looked like in the video? Assuming the speed limit is 55, she shouldn't be chilling in the left lane as is. If that's her chosen speed, use the left lane and pass people as needed.  

 

That said, dude in the truck is a dick too.
