gonna take just the right coach to properly motivate him and be someone that the kid can respond to.  A big name coach with lots of attention and success is only going to add more pressure.

 

Matsko and Brown (not to mention Riv) may be just the guys who can offer up the other side of the coin for this obviously troubled kid.  You cannot coach up size or talent.  This kid has both.  But you can steady a kid who is willing to listen by showing him the journeyman approach and effort to counter what he has probably heard every day from everyone around him since his early 'teens.  

 

Matsko and Brown (especially Brown) are two guys that have the background to allow them to legitimately deliver this knowledge.  

 

I am sure every OL scout in the country is researching how and where to pull off a potential "steal" at this very moment concerning Seantrel.  I hope he lands in the right spot.

And Werner was about as effective for Indy as Everette Brown was for us. Not a good idea to use FSU DE's as an argument.

Werner is 10x the player Brown was. The kid is going to be pretty good. He missed a couple games and didnt played much. Started to get more comfortable at the end of last season.

Vontaze burfict is the an exception and produced at the college level .. Henderson just showed up and eat food

I dout our 7th is still theres to pick when the time comes. They have too few roster slots and and to many selections to make.

Anybody citing burfict as a reason to draft the guy should understand that burfict was put in a situation where his potential pro career was hanging by a thread, which got him to play serious. I'd give this guy a shot as a UDFA, but you don't endow someone like this with a draft pick.

Tbh what can it hurt to take him in the 7th? He has the physical tools to be a stud. We really aren't going to find a star in the 7th anyways.
