NFL Draft is a month out and I still have no Idea who we're looking at?

I hope we trade down if we plan on taking Kouandjio or Moses. Not to mention we could get some valuable O-linemen in the third and fourth round as well. I would love us to draft 2 WR 2-3 O-linemen and at least one CB in the top 3 rounds.

The draft never unfolds the way we think it will. Having said that, the way I think the draft will unfold tells me that we are jumping all over a top WR in round 1- I would make a list of WRs I think will be good #1s who can come in and make a huge difference.  To me, they are:

 

  1. Sammy Watkins
  2. Mike Evans
  3. Brandin Cooks
  4. Odell Beckham Jr
  5. Marquis Lee

When the 4th WR off this list is taken, I would move up and make sure that I grabbed one of these 5.  The reason?  The second-round WRs are solid, but either raw or just not as dynamic as the five guys above.   We don't have anyone who can play #1.  You could say that about LT, but I think there are 4-5 day two Tackles who could start. 

 

You can argue that we need a T, but would you move up for Zack Martin?  I do not think I would.

Imma be honest. .if we cant land Watkins, Benjamin, Evans (who im wary of. reminds of David Boston) or Cooks I would like to see us go CB... A lock down CB would do wonders for the defense and Offense. .

Last year's first round went nuts at pick 3 when the Dolphins picked Dion Jordan :lol:

 

Gotta admit that was the most fun I've had watching a draft in years.

 

Wouldn't mind seeing something like that again.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
