Cats vs Hawks 4/14

Figured I would go ahead and start the game thread since there is a little news already. The Hawks are resting Millsap, Carroll and Korver.

Hawks will rest Paul Millsap, DeMarre Carroll and Kyle Korver tonight vs. Bobcats. #ATLHawks

Kemba should be ready to go tonight.

Kemba Walker (groin injury) got through shootaround fine and is expected to play versus Hawks tonight.

The Heat obviously know they can beat us and are settling for that #2 seed, keeping us in the #7. That loss against the Celtics was brutal. What a difference in playing the Raptors and going up against the best team with the best player in the league. Pretty upsetting. Hopefully Washington will poo the bed tonight.

    • Similar situation but that would be a better version than what we currently have. Sam isn't a franchise QB but he is a good bridge guy. Either Seatle finds a young guy to groom or they have hit their ceiling. They 100% can't put it on Sam's shoulders and expect to win but the team needs to carry less with him at QB to win vs what this team has to do with Bryce.
    • to me the post would suggest Sam Darnold was good last night because Seattle won in a wild game.   Which is what we do with Bryce Young.   Sam Darnold didn't play well last night.  Which is how he trends, goes to a new team.....looks okay and becomes classic Sam Darnold down the stretch.  Last 6 or 7 weeks old bad Sam is coming out a lot (and then a weird Atlanta game mixed in lol).
    • If we could have just skipped numbers 2-4 it would have been a normal cycle of an NFL team at the end of an era. Firing Rivera when he did was not a bad decision, everything after that was unimaginably awful.
