Especially since they don't understand all the time spent dubbing songs from one tape to another for the perfect make-out music for the Friday night date tape. All the hours recording songs off the radio. And all hell would break loose if the player ate the tape and you had to spend 30 minutes getting it wound back up without getting knots in it. 

 

Damn you kids of today...

I wish I was cool enough to have a walkman.  I did have a dual cassette box that would duplicate tapes.  That was the bomb. :)

And both have still made it onto every mp3 player I have ever owned.

Ive had to explain Magilla Gorilla & the blowing in a Nintendo cartridge to make it work to my programmer, hes 24....

I do miss spending an entire night with a friends tape collection, a dubbing deck and a freshly unwrapped Maxell II chrome blank making a mix tape to blast while driving the next morning onto the Navy base in Charleston Circa 1985.

I didn't own a TV because I'd rather buy better speakers with the money I had.

On patrol in my sub I had the greatest Walkman ever, the Pioneer PK5-AW. We had a tray that was above our rack that was an inch and a half deep but 4 feet long and 2 feet wide that was full of cassettes that kept me sane.
