  1. Past hour
  2. Listening to the interviews today, I get a feeling we bout to finish the season out a lil more locked in and angry...
  3. Since Shough started, Young has thrown for 1306 yards and 12 TD's. The Panthers as a team have only rushed for 764 yards, scoring only 4 TD's. Not sure how can you say Young isn't doing a ton of heavy lifting when he alone accounts for 64% of the yardage and 75% of the TD. I'll give you the fact the Panthers were leaning on the run game early on but since the Green bay game, it has not really been that productive.
  4. There is barely anywhere that we couldn’t use a first round talent. I just hope they hit on whoever they draft. Defense makes plenty of sense of the value is there. I can’t believe how well the defense is doing with such a weak pass rush.
  5. No, not you. If you look at my post time, there was another thread on the rookie class between your post and mine. Same praise as two weeks prior and they’ve posted almost word for word matches to other articles on Panthers related sites with no credit. Posting the same content after every win is annoying and posting about the same topic (rookie class) just clutters. You had interesting content, other thread added nothing and got more posts.
  6. Staal isn't dropping unless someone comes after him. Chatty won't, they can't afford him in the box for 5 minutes. Carrier in a minute, but he's out.
  7. Yesterday
  8. I don't understand why this guy plays well against us......two times in a row.
  9. I’ve never seen the leash, excuses rationalization done for such meh QB play in Panthers QB history….to the extent done for Bryce Young. It’s not glazing Shough. It’s pointing out Bryce is giving you comparable level of QB play that is dirt cheap in the NFL….and we don’t need to get into a bad spot over that. Thats a hard pill to swallow….so you see it as Shough glaze
  10. Convo isn’t one stat, number or thought. You keep projecting that. The TEAM has something to do with those TDs….because our pass attack is 26th in the NFL. How do you think we are moving the ball. Bryce isn’t doing a ton of lifting nor has a great deal on his shoulders in our offense. and he clearly isn’t very efficient by the majority of metrics we measure efficiency. Which gets into why Dave has ramped up his 4th down gambling that was overwhelming going our way but is going to even out in time .
  11. I've never seen a guy here try so hard to glaze a rival QB.
  12. Apparently it’s bruised ribs. Looking like a few weeks
  13. KK chatty and Hall will. Also, Staal beat the brakes off the jets player a month ago.
  14. You keep confusing team stats with QB stats. While the TEAM may be 27th in scoring, Young, as I pointed out earlier, is 14th in TD% (TD's as a percentage of total yards throw). So he is pretty efficient at scoring passing TD's. If there is a problem, it might be that they have only scored 8 rushing TDs and Young was one of them. For comparison, the Falcons have 16. So as you can see, a TEAMS ability to score isn't wholly dependent on the QB and isn't a very good metric to measure them by.
  15. if Panthers make the playoffs he will be linked all winter-spring to Panthers. personally I want a edge, but bpa is always worth the 1st too...hope its a edge..
  16. classic MJ being cheap, worst owner in nba history. I think kon, I think its time for me to bbq some crow even with my weak out. he's been great on this pitiful team, fug ankle ball btw..
  17. and one is lead by 3rd year starter we are debating a contract and big decisions on soon…..and one by a rookie 2nd rounder thrust into the gig. which is the entire point. And we are talking Tyler freaking Shough. Not Drake Drake Maye Maye. Which is really the type QB that should be brought up. Actual good young QB play
  18. Saw a mock draft where we selected this player.
  19. Incorrect, I have watched us consistently over quite a number of years. When I say Cam relied on athleticism, I simply mean his dual threat style and athleticism overshadowed the deficiencies in the passing game (his own or those created by the system). Now I wouldn’t disagree that our OCs over that time were not amazing and arguably held him back, but correct me if I’m wrong, Cam had a habit of locking onto his receivers and overthrowing them. Gettleman even drafted two big receivers - Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess - to give Cam receivers with a big catch radius. Again, correct me if I’m wrong, but Cam had some mechanical issues. For example, the reliance on arm strength over touch and his footwork often led to him throwing off the back foot. There were many debates on these boards about his mechanics, with far more knowledgeable posters than I braking down what he needed to improve on. End of the day, I was as big a Cam fan as the next person, but he did have his shortcomings as a passer. Had he played under someone like Sean McVay or a similar offensive guru, with a high quality QB coach, then I’m sure they would have ironed out the kinks and he would have been far more dangerous and successful than he was. And that’s a scary thought of what he could have been under the likes of a McVay!
  20. It's true that we are not scoring at a much higher clip than the Saints. They're averaging ~18.4 with Shough and in that same span we're averaging ~19, so pretty close, despite Bryce having better TD numbers over that period. Both our teams are a far, far cry from the NFL average of 23.3...
  21. I like when this big kat is going crazy panther fan and not the pat jersey betting against persona.
  22. heavy rumor is he getting tagged now. TE are a ultra cheap tag being a big reason and he's putting up numbers in his FA year...
  23. Dont leave. Doing the opposite of whatever you suggest is how to never work another day
  24. No one is making any argument purely off of yards we also happen to be 27th in scoring and living in the same neighborhood as the Saints in that department and scoring % of drives. There QB doing more lifting moving the ball and our RBs factoring more.
