  1. Past hour
  2. I don't sweat the picks. We always find a gem or 2 with rookie free agents. We can pick whatever we want. Sadiq could be a game changer or not. Who cares. Love your cat.
  3. It doesn’t seem hard to figure out for me this year. I know everyone is wanting some type of weapon but I think it’s almost certain they will draft a Tackle in the 1st round. -Ickey may not return to form/contract expiring -Walker only on 1 year deal, if he does well enough to resign it will be expensive. -Moton getting older, could save money by letting him go after next season. -No real depth behind Walker or Moton this season. Its pretty clear they will go Tackle as depth piece to either take over at LT or RT long term.
  4. Defense gets the draft scraps, and you have to get players from somewhere. When you use number one picks for offense 2022-2025, it will be from FA by necessity. Sorry, all due respect new LBs twice, literally made me laugh out loud. It seems like that position has been a black hole.
  5. The latest and it's a tawdry story for sure.
  6. The bus needs to be in the backup role to hopefully avoid shattering what's left of his confidence. Hopefully he can bounce back with a break.
  7. It's a simple matter of do the positives outweigh the negatives. And such is the case when assessing any potential signing. Even if you can talk him down on his salary expectation it will still be a higher end deal compared to younger counterparts that don't have the potential very real diva baggage. And then there is the matter of keeping him healthy. In a perfect world you would like to have him for depth but on top of all the variables of such a signing we also have young receivers who need the targets and continued development. I chuckle every time people mock any vague skepticism of maxing out the salary cap for an unproven roster as if this franchise just began it's existence several years ago with the Tepper's. Too many people cocooned within the confines of social media have little understanding or concern for anything that isn't recent. The Panthers have been around the block before with these concepts. It's ok to be realistic with expectations.
  8. Today
  9. Somewhere a few years ago a Miami fan posted the same thing on their forum
  10. I think McDonald is my Draft Crush this year, so it probably won't happen
  11. I remember reading somewhere that either the Panthers or NFL teams in general had Hill Jr as a FRP.
  12. I guess. They say he is better pass than run. Also he was supposedly a better player in like, 2023. So find what he changed and change it back.
  13. Freddie hasnt been much better except last game, that said I think our d gets a lot better in the playoffs with line matching.
  14. I agree with that. Moving 1 or 2 spots up, ok, depending on the cost. Moving to 1 from 9, nope. Moving to 1 from 20, I don't even want to know what that would cost. Cheap rookie contracts are the only way to really be competitive. You have to hit on your picks at impact positions to have a chance for a deep playoff run year after year. Bills and the WR group are a perfect example. Elite QB, no one to catch it.
  15. Okay I see that we smoked them twice in 2005 Davis’ first year. The next year not so much though. Lost 20-7 and won 10-3 or 10-7.
  16. Man... don't get my hopes up, Dan. I would LOVE to see this guy on the Panthers.
  17. They aren't going to fire Hubert until they are sure they have a replacement Last thing they want is to fire him and take forever hiring someone else
