Hot Takes Immediately After the Game
scratched replied to Admiral Ackbar's topic in Carolina Panthers
The first thing that came mind to me… the team looks like they don’t even practice together! Horrible tempo, absolutely inexcusable QB play, terrible tackling, terrible time management. Same thing, different year! -

No it wont...2 thr players tops and DC -
He's 22 years old. Draft him a stud QB next year and keep it pushing.
-
Hey he’s on pace for a 1000 yard season lol

Team needed a drill sergeant, not a cheerleader

Canales looks great if we had Stroud instead, just saying. -
I believe it is "hands off" publicly but I believe it is far less so behind closed doors. He does not strike me as a man who has the ability to not micromanage. His background certainly doesn't suggest it.

We were always a better 4-3 team....LBs are not a strength for us...he'll DB isn't a strength for us....HELL DEFENSE isn't our strength -
There is nothing to be done about it right now, even if you are right. He was the choice. This is the plan. Sink or swim.

We hired Canales because he doesn’t intimidate Tepp. Wilks had this team playing harder with 1 week on the job while doing it HIS way than every other coach we’ve had since Tepp bought the team. At least the team played like they had dignity. I don’t know what the hell I just watched. It just takes a different kind of captain to steer this garbage barge through the ish storm it currently finds itself in. -
tukafan21 started following Tetairoa McMillan

My bad my Wildcat brother I feel like I spoke it into existence for him to become a Panther, and all I did was saddle my GOAT with this team, this offense, and unfortunately this "Quarterback" My excitement of the last 4 months since we drafted him has quickly turned into "oh poo, please just don't ruin his career before it's able to get off the ground and show him to be the player I know he can be"
-
Naw ride him to a 1st overall pick, new staff and ship him off to a sucker for a conditional 6th or 7th. They set it up that way and now have to eat it. If you learn to laugh it's actually hilarious...maybe because of the calluses I have developed since 2019 I guess
-
I'm not sure anyone knows those dynamics right now. Tepper has assured everyone that he's "hands off" now. I tend to believe, BUT that doesn't guarantee everything is okay.
-
I don't think we panic this year. If you guys really are this convinced he is trash, this is actually a GOOD thing. He will continue to burn and we will replace him with out inevitable high 1st round pick. The worst thing he can do is continue to be mediocre and give Tepper hope.

THIS THIS AND THIS. Preach.

And it honestly should've been 120ish yards with 4 turnovers including a pick six without the bailout flag.
-
We run run pass BECAUSE OF his physical traits.

i know the answer to the equation Bryce Young is not an NFL starting Qb .period.& that has nothing to do with today's one game everyone makes mistakes in the NFL. it's the ones who can promptly recognize their mistakes & cut their losses early on that separates the teams that are successful from the teams who always seem to never figure it out & are like well I really don't know WTF to expect ? & why should you expect anything great to come out of a QB who has had way many more bad games than good games .Bryce Young is now 1-15 on the road as a starting Qb in the NFL that tells me someone does not know how to properly evaluate talent if you have no clue what to expect going into year 3 ...just saying

Pacing an NFL team is an extremely difficult thing to do. Tom Coughlin used to pistol whip his guys in training camp. The result was that they nearly always started off hot, but also regularly faded down the stretch. Other coaches would go easy in the offseason and thus produce teams that looked like sh-t early but improved down the stretch. Problem being unfortunately that by the time they looked good, they were already in too big hole to dig out of. Finding that balance is EXTREMELY difficult. Plenty of coaches never do
-
When can we panic?
-
Just over 150 yards and barely 50% completion for the game with 3 turnovers. FRANCHISE!!!
-
I just have to be better than Bryce. Give me some Mexican supplements and I like my chances lol I’ll even grow out the mustache
-
If he was a rookie, sure. But this is year three and he looked as trashy as ever.
-
Dippers hell bent on 3-4...Evero is a 3-4 coach.... with no ***** LB's...why not let the actual coach decide.
