Canales Did Not Call a Terrible Game
PleaseCutStewart replied to Carolina Cajun's topic in Carolina Panthers
Honestly, I just want to see DC have a game where he calls mostly deep routes and tells Bryce to Chuck it deep. If he throws 3 or more INTs, that will help make it very obvious Bryce is not a QB worthy of a roster spot on any NFL team -
No argument with any of this...

Bryce Young post game presser

The fug? You pull this poo after today? -
The formations were the same running scheme he has run with Dowdle since he became starter and it doesn’t work now that other teams have tape on it. Dowdle is going to be neutralized and they have to have someone else step up and make plays. McMillian is the only other player who can consistently make a play other than Dowdle and he’s a rookie. Bryce just isn’t it, the entire team probably knows it at this point, I think Bryce feels it, and it drags the whole team down into the abyss. They are probably not bouncing back from this loss with how difficult the schedule gets after the Falcons game. It’s brutal. Every team is going to sell out to stop the run, and the Panthers won’t have an answer for it. The season is over.

Hellofa try there.

Need a PP goal. Gotta start building some momentum there. Cannot keep being a near worst in the NHL PP.
-
I think the Panthers have benefitted from teams not having an answer for Dowdle who had a great stretch of games and now tape is out there on the formations they use for him. Canales didn’t show a single new look or formation and the Saints were ready. They need a QB who can keep the defense honest and challenges the defense downfield which Bryce will never be able to do. It’s like watching half of an offense trying to win games.

You say that, but the offense was still predictable as crap. The same indide zone run and the slot receiver running the three yard out route was pretty much our entire offense... I know Bryce can't throw deep for crap, but you have to start sending receivers deep when NO is running press man on the outside with zero safeties over the top. Instead we are running every eligible receiver 10 yds or less. Bryce sucks, but this offense is way too easy to scheme against. Honestly shocked other defenses haven't done what New Orleans did today -
Canes got a PP chance here with all the momentum

Official Week 10: Saints @ Panthers Gameday Thread

Stafford = Young...got it. McVey likes a guy that can stretch the field. Bryce stretching the field is a 15 yard pass. -
He has been very shaky. Getting lucky in some regards.

Pantherxtreme started following Scott Fowler on worse loss

This one is a little more embarrassing to be honest those others were good teams we lost to. Having a 1-8 team come smack you around in your home stadium when a win could compel you into the playoff race with the Bucs losing today is unacceptable.
-
Receivers arent wide open because Bryce cant throw the ball further than 20 yards down field, The field is condensed. The secondary can throw 9 in the box or be really aggressive because there isn’t a threat of a post route. That’s not a Canales issue that’s a Bryce thing, He’s smart but he’s physically limited. Glad you are finally seeing it.
