I’ve seen that skit probably ten times now and it never gets old. -
Why? If someone is willing to pay it, someone should take it. I'd be interested in seeing what the sliding scale looks like for recruits at different star levels. If $20K a month is the rate for a top 25-50 recruit, that doesn't seem unreasonable to me - especially at the QB, RB and WR positions. I'd also like to think these schools are smart enough that they are putting some sort of recuperation clause in a contract that says we'll pay you to stay a recruit, but if you flip or decommit, the money has to be paid back. Otherwise, I'd be telling my son to commit to anyone with a check book his sophomore year, let's get paid while we look / wait for better options.

He had a great year statistically, but he has not shown game breaking ability on the field that I've seen. At least not enough that would justify that high of a pick. If he does blossom into the next top RB of the league, he will get a fat second contract by a contender. -

He had close to 2000 yards and 15 yds. Robinson is a beast -

Pitts is being talked about in trades. Falcons fans don't think he cares about football. Could be that a change of scenery would help. If I had been drafted by Atlanta I'd be ready to get out too. This is why you don't draft tight ends in the top 10. I think they took him in the top 5. And followed that up quickly by using a top 10 on a RB who is setting the world on fire either. Falconing. -

for SB, I got +15000 in vegas. Worth a $10 buy for a potential $1,500 payout. -
I'm a film fan. Favorite pod is Now Playing. Bad Movies Rule is good.

The entire team only had 20 receiving TDs with their team leader only having 5. Man, their offense was ass that year. -
SNL fans should enjoy the Lonely Island and Seth Meyers Podcast. The premise is a review of every SNL Digital Short and what went into them, but the pod then deviates into general SNL episode-by-episode history and behind-the-scenes chatter in a casual, conversational way. A few running jokes from epi to epi between friends, and still amused the pods they did to discuss the movie Hot Rod ended up being longer than the movie itself

I didn't even realize he had over 1k as a rookie. He only found the endzone once that year. -

How hard is it to find 3 things in common relative to another occurrence in any given year? Even if the trend holds true, we make the SB and lose. -

I will say, I am feeling very good about staying put and landing a top wideout to really elevate this offense. We needed an offense defining type player and got that in Tet. In retrospect, I really don’t know if I would have felt as good getting Mykel/Etc and a lesser WR — sacrificing not getting a day 1 WR1 and reaching on D. Honestly, we got the same level of talent/potential in R2-3 on defense that we were gonna get in a trade down. Won’t know until we see results but it was a really smart draft strategy this year. Heck, even if we traded down, who knows maybe Golden may have been in the cards over defense. -

Then the cynical part of me just felt they’ll use us as a patsy for Lamar or Josh Allen to have their redemption arc. I fuging hate Goodell and the NFL. But I love the Panthers. *sad face -

I can never root for any Canadian team to win a cup even against one of my hated American teams. -
His completion percentage was, but his total yardage was not, and that was with some atrocious WR play at times (though some major balling out by Thielen at times for sure). But he also had some really bad throws. His mechanics are far from perfect and NEED to improve. Receivers are no longer an excuse, either. I'm not saying he is a top 10 QB, just that in a lot of categories he was between average and just inside the top 10 in that stretch if we do things like considering his rushing as part of his production. My issue with him is we need to see within game and between game consistency. We saw some evidence of that possibility though.

only question left is are we playing the Bills, chiefs, ravens in the superbowl? Bills would certainly be the best in terms of just playing a cursed franchise -

this is really cool, also credit to Dan for holding the Rams hostage for that pick. I'm proud he didn't sell low on it. -
This is getting beyond stupid.
