  2. Yeah, you honestly expect a player and his agent to be like “yeah well he’s still injured and his recovery isn’t as good as reported “? especially when he’s trying to get onto a new team? when do players ever admit things like that? Sports is always just a bunch of PR BS. Everything is always fine, they are never in the wrong. also I love how people just automatically think it’s the Ravens in the wrong, like the raiders have been a great and honest organization in the past. there’s also the fact that not every doctor/medical staff will believe the same thing. Some doctors/staffs are better than others and they have different opinions. its very possible that Crosby thinks he’s perfectly fine in his recovery but the doctors just don’t think it. players lie too.
  3. Yea, nice hit on State. I've got the ACC tourney on while working a bit. Put in a Louisville, Texas, Florida State and Clemson ML Parlay for fairly small.
  4. Yes. I'd take both players before I'd take Cooper. I don't think either player is inferior to Cooper as prospects, regardless of position.
  5. No doubt that he still brings something to the table. As much as I dislike anyone involved in bountygate, he could help the team. I have a feeling that he will be chasing a ring though. SB win is all that is missing from his very distinguished career.
  6. Fans bitch and moan about that, not players. As long as they're getting paid, they're happy.
  7. Nothing suspicious about this at all.
  8. Look at ohtanis contract. 68 of his 70 mill per year is deferred for a whole decade. Even with that the dodgers this year have a payroll higher than the bottom 4 teams combined. It's insane
  9. We sign a LB then we ignore it? After we've had a terrible lineback group since Luke left. CJ with Devin Lloyd would be excellent. I prefer to take a LT in the first and an Anthony Hill Jr or Jacob Rodriguez in the second. By no means is LB finished or fixed
  10. I watched and commented on that video last night. Those guys are fuging morons
  11. If we assume void years have been utilized, Daniel Jones will carry cap hits of: 2026: $14.68M 2027: $46.8M 2028: $26.4M (void) He gets $50M fully guaranteed, $510k per-game-active bonuses, $6M of annual incentives, & an early vesting bonus in 2027. https://x.com/spotrac/status/2031794892360290770?s=20
  12. Over exposure is already an issue. They are going to kill the golden goose with this kind of thinking.
  13. @HeelsPanthersCanesstate got there by a point. Have Richmond -5.5 and Auburn -7.5 to go

  15. Wait what? Were there really people here who wanted us to go after a player coming off a missed season due to an ACL tear, that he was supposed to be back early in the season but didn't ever come back because he hated his team (even though they just gave him a big contract) and thus was lazy in his rehab from said ACL tear?!?!?! I wouldn't even take him at a league minimum salary, just not a guy you want in the locker room with T-Mac and Coker. We want them learning from hard working vets, not someone like Aiyuk who is a locker room cancer. And I'll also fully admit I wanted us to try and trade for him when the 49ers had him on the market before signing him to the new deal. But with how he handled that whole thing and then everything since then, it completely changed my opinion on him.
  16. Yeah that is scaring me with Horn. After Luke, I am in terror of that happening again. I guess Jewell is done because of it. Effing LBs…
  17. Deferred payments always call Bobby Bonilla to mind. For the balance of his contract after his release, the Mets did a deferred payment. 1.2 mil per year, 2011-2035. I don’t think they owed him all that much. The kicker is they invested the principle with Bernie Madoff. Of course he stole it all.
  18. They scored 20 and 17 points. Our offense was abysmal both games. The bulk of their passing yards came on a couple of plays in the first game
  19. Tackle is a viable 1st round position to take. Even if it’s immediately to fill in for Ikky, the long term plan would be a Moton replacement. oorrrr…. Hear me out. For the first time in over 2 decades draft a top-flight, ball-hawking, Free-mfn-Safety.
  20. Yeah, I don’t understand why the players are against it, yet they bitch and moan when the Dodgers and the Yankees and all the other big teams buy up all the superstars
  21. Yeah. We just have to see how things develop. I know they have several quality minds working on scenarios and contingencies. For me in this space and in this time, I have things I accept as fact. They may be my opinion but I am operating as though they are facts. As follows. We have a crisis. A fire to put out at left tackle. Ignoring it is not an option. It seems unlikely we are going after the top rated LOT guys in FA at this point. So there is the draft. That’s it. We must explore all options and we must solve it the best we are able to. Even if we have to sacrifice a little. So with the above as my guidelines, I am tossing the luxury of BPA in favor of being practical - in this specific situation. I had no issue with it last year, but we are in a hole right now. I don’t see a choice, we have to address the need.
  22. I think we hired this guy to figure out the New Orleans offense and what made it work so well against us. Also, I think we will draft a C later in the draft and this guy is either depth (which we didn't really have at the position) or is a learning curve guy as the draftee gets up to pro speed or needs time to season and put on some muscle. That makes me think we're looking at a smaller school center in the mid rounds. But what do I know?
