  1. Past hour
  2. There are tons of videos of analysts etc talking about how Bryce's footwork needs significant improvement (and it is pointed to as one reason why he looks weaker armed than he really is)
  3. Someone I think maybe kungfoo but anyhow it was characterized as Reich fuging with Tepper basically. It was just a few days ago I think in one of these recent threads. And it never happened again.
  4. I kinda figured there would be no sneak goin in, but the hail mary benching was a real eye opener. Maybe Frank was just fuggin with everyone though and Bryce secretly has a cannon.
  5. ACC looking like 3 teams in the playoff. Miami win or lose next week probably wins out. FSU with a much tougher schedule but clearly can get there. Ga Tech almost certainly wins out until Georgia. Good stuff. No reason to think Tech can’t beat Georgia either
  6. Meanwhile, FSU and UVA are engaged in the wildest turnover fest in football history. 4 turnovers in the first 10 minutes. LOL
  7. Might want to pull her tail up and look Kidding!
  8. You are the one not acknowledging what the analysts who profess credibility and back it up with videos and stats are saying which is the opposite of what you are saying. I profess no expertise but I do follow those that do and simply repost what they say. Your argument is with them. What you want is credibility without doing the work and letting nothing but your already biased views color your ongoing analysis. When you argue with videos you haven't even seen using your already always knowing, with no facts only opinions (no matter how detailed), how would anyone take you seriously.
  9. You're working off of old information. We were spending about $4M in NIL under Mack. We had to commit in Belichick's contract to spending the NIL max which is around $20M plus Belichick's $10M plus another $10M for the rest of the staff, another $1M to S&C staff and $5M for the football office staff. The issue is absolutely NOT lack of resources as badly as you want that to be true. We are absolutely spending our asses off and you're seeing what that bought us. Stop lying to yourself. People say you can just buy a team in the NIL era and in a lot of ways that's true, or... you can just buy yourself an organization of crony nepotism. We chose the latter. Hope Bill and company enjoy that $$$. https://www.si.com/nfl/bill-belichick-unc-business-of-football#:~:text=And%2C perhaps most importantly%2C UNC,so before their Bowl games. Of course, Belichick is not naive. He is aware of the new financial realities that he will have to deal with and, with the leverage he had coming there, required UNC to ante up to make his transition easier and more resourceful. In addition to his $10 million salary, Belichick can spend $10 million on his coaching staff, $1 million on strength and conditioning staff, and $5 million on office staff that includes his longtime colleague Michael Lombardi for the position of general manager. And, perhaps most importantly, UNC has agreed to seriously upgrade its NIL budget from $4 million to the maximum allowable under the new revenue sharing system coming, which will likely be around $20 million.
  10. Today
  11. btw fwiw etc Over the cap, I looked at because he was said to be a salary cap release. He got something like 14mil for 2022. And has made 87mil in his career. Meaning I guess that 2 mil he missed out on, he can withstand.
  12. Yesterday
  13. The Vikings are flying First Class MLFootball on X: "VIDEO: The Minnesota #Vikings are flying most of their players with first-class amenities for their game in Ireland. Expect Minnesota’s players to look fresh during their game on Sunday. The difference between Minnesota and Pittsburgh planes https://t.co/QC4QfFt2D4" / X
  14. let’s not forget the sneak lol. It’s a twofer.
  15. Sit him for a few games and let the smoke clear out of his head. Ease him back in and get back in gear. He may snap out of it
  16. Welp better trade him now and try to get something out of it, another terrible pick by Dan.
  17. Maybe, but can you ever remember a #1 overall qb that had to be benched for a hail mary? That was a new one for me.
  18. That's the danger of getting guys close to retirement or should have already retired. But then you turn around and hire an even less qualified and capable guy than him.
  19. When the Panthers went to play overseas were they in First Class? The Pittsburg Steelers are riding in coach (2) Dov Kleiman on X: "Yikes: The Steelers have gone viral for not flying their players first class for their international game in Ireland. Most NFL teams make sure their players sit in business or first class. Especially for international flights... https://t.co/dxWQ7nITA3" / X
  20. I'm gonna hold out for XL...but a shtstorm is brewing and it don't look good. Morgans 1st draft is looking like pure dick....
  21. XL is the only interesting person there and they probably don’t get higher than a 4th with maybe some swap shenanigans. Hes not produced at all in the nfl, has terrible fundamentals, and right now it’s looking like he’s got the dreaded “not committed to the game” moniker. plus the panthers can’t keep him around. more I think about it them more I think it’s a seventh from a team that doesn’t want to risk losing him if he’s cut. dj Johnson is worthless.
  22. I think he wants it as bad as anyone. Something in his brain just doesn't fire on game days.
  23. Oh 1 million percent true. Everything after the 1st, we fall for the fools gold year after year, thinking we're going to take these raw high RAS score type of guys and turn them into stars but never can. But we've been amazingly rock solid in the 1st since 2001, I honestly wonder how many other teams have had as many long term starters at the rate we've had. In our last 24 1st round picks, setting aside Bryce and XL, Butler would be the biggest bust, KB exploded and then fell apart, but that seemed more on him than a missed evaluation, and Otah also started out great but then injuries derailed his carer, so not really a "miss" either. The other 19 (if including T-Mac) were starters and true impact players as career long Panthers until we decided to move on from them through trade, release, or we didn't want to re-sign late in their career, with all of them except Burns having signed a 2nd contract with us as well. Star and Peppers are our only 1st rounders since 2001 to leave through free agency after their contracts expired. Morgan, Peppers, Gross, Gamble, TD, Deangelo, Beason, Stewart, Otah, Cam, Kuechly, Star, KB, Shaq, Butler, CMC, DJ, Burns, Brown, Horn, Ickey, Bryce, XL, T-Mac Really a wild run over 25 years
  24. Yea first round isn’t accurate. But there have been several players we over drafted instead of taking the obvious pick.
  25. I mean, to be fair, we've really only missed on 2 first round picks since 2016, they just happened to be the last 2 years before hitting again this year with T-Mac. Hell, looking back even further, we're just historically great at not screwing up the 1st round since 2001. The worst 1st round picks we've had since then are... XL, Bryce, Butler, Otah, and KB. The next worst pick other than those 5 since 2001 would probably be between Star and Ickey.
