  1. Past hour
  2. I remember people here saying it was ridiculous that we didn't draft Hooker, and that he would be someone we regretted passing on.
  3. decent odds the present cycle continues. Where you might not draft the QB and go the random available vet route like we tried in the Teddy or Darnold/Baker route. We most certainly can't afford to move up in a draft go get "our guy". The roster is still paying the price for that type move last time.
  4. I mean, he did miss 7 games.....and still almost lead the Panthers in every statistical production category.
  5. I like it when they use Tremble in the fullback role as well. They can send him out on routes or let him help block for our RBs.
  6. Ill just leave this here Mid-year report reveals an 8% decrease in overall crime and a remarkable 25% reduction in violent crime
  7. Yeah he was drafted and stayed on the Lions active roster for a couple years. That's an upgrade over Plummer.
  8. Didn’t he have a major surgery done to him? still, 27, 32 doesn’t matter he hasn’t shown improvement. I doubt a change of scenery will change that. I doubt think the system he was in or the team was the issue with him. I would honestly rather have a young QB who maybe raw but could actually be good with time and coaching. I don’t get why everyone has such low expectations for back up QBs. Back up QBs can be developed into starters. Why invest in a player who doesn’t have much potential?
  9. I get all that. I'm just saying, XL and Coker had over a full year of mentorship from Thielen and they were lucky to have it. I just think the vet leadership value is a bit overblown here. By all accounts, David Moore is a great locker room guy and their WR coach was a 12 year pro bowl vet.
  10. Hooker is hot ass but he at least has an NFL skill set
  11. Look it up. On a much better offensive team he was worse in every way
  12. City planners have let down the public and honestly should be removed from their seats. You cannot continue to let people move to Charlotte and provide no relieve or infrastructure. We are not a big city, we do not have infrastructure of a big city but we keep giving out permits to builders like sunflower seeds. We do not generate enough revenue to account for the inflow of people. Charlotte/NC need to start taxing new arrivals to area and that tax should directly go into public transportation development/city infrastructure but we got too many idiots that don’t know how to run a city.
  13. I think this is kind of puff because he is clearly focused on bringing in receivers that fit his old style.
  14. He finished the preseason 22-of-40 passing for 187 yards, zero touchdowns, three interceptions and two fumbles. The Lions were held without a touchdown and were limited to just one field goal in 20 preseason drives with Hooker at the helm He was horrible this preseason. Add to the fact he is 27, unless DC is a true qb whisperer then this dude aint ever seeing the light of day on a nfl field. If ben johnson couldnt get him going in the right direction then I dont know what to say
  15. yeah but he will never be a starter. at 32 he will still have really low mileage on him
  16. Hooker starting over Dalton would solely be due to injury or potentially due to an obvious tank effort down the stretch.
  17. Today
  18. See if he can be coached up on the practice squad.
  19. I don't think most actually watch a snap of his 2024 or 2025 preseason games. There is a reason a 3rd round draft pick was jettisoned so quickly for.....Kyle Allen. He is atrocious.
  20. There are only 3 options going into 2026 for Bryce and the panthers 1. Pick up the 5th and go from there 2.Extend him 3. Trade him and draft his replacement Year 3 is absolutely make or break for him in regards to his career with the panthers. And for the record I hope he balls out. Starting again with a rookie qb would just be a ruthless cycle and basically starting from square 1.......again
  21. All TV media is basically that now. Idiocracy is becoming more prophetic by the day.
  22. There is ample time during the year to dumpster dive.
  23. Nice! We desperately need him out there. Curious if we have a tight end/RB help block the left side with Icky (presumably) out vs jacksonville
  24. I mean, Clausen stayed but he wasn't a former top pick. Fields, Wilson, Lance, Pickett, Rosen, Haskins, etc. Not sure any top pick can really can stay once a team moves on to the next top pick. Gotta to think Bryce would be shipped off.
