  1. Past hour
  2. Carolina goes FS at 19. I would love this move and think adding a Cooper DeJean (Thienneman) or Emanwori (EMW) gives us an invaluable piece that seals the secondary up.
  3. I have Slaughter in my mock in the 3rd. I also like Sam Hecht from Kansas State in rd 3.
  4. Holy crap. I say this as a Carolina fan thrilled that Duke lost…how tf did Hurley not get T’d up for this?
  5. Carolina picks 2 players in round 1. One in the mid 20s and one in the 30s.
  6. ... Carolina trades back into the 1st round to draft LB Jacob Rodriguez.
  7. Which Duke fans are you talking about? Duke has choked away legit title chances the last two years. I don't know anyone acting like they're some machine but yes they've certainly been better than UNC the last few years
  8. This right here... And the NFL is all for it when they keep putting the refs that are the absolute worst in key games/playoff games
  9. Honestly, outside of the big fugup on the fail mary, the replacement refs were as good, if not better, than the regular refs
  10. It is interesting that we essentially have met this QB twice.
  11. I would stay away from Proctor too, and I want an OT. Too much uncertainty to take him in the 1st round for me.
  12. My thoughts exactly. I’m telling you, the canes flame out in playoffs, esp early, fire Tulsky season in full effect.
  13. Today
  14. International soccer today. Ghana is not as good as they use to be thinking most of their shot attempts will be blocked or not on frame. Not sure they even get that many off but it almost tripled payout
  15. I honestly wouldn't mind taking them both. We need bodies and depth at the C/G position is certainly something we haven't had in a very long time.
  16. I don't see the lateral quickness there to handle speed rushers. He could surprise, but I am very suspect of Bama players at certain positions. Top draft classes every year playing against inferior talent. The gap closes too much when they reach the NFL.
  17. There has been too much talk about Smith-Wade going to safety for there not to be something there. IT MAKES SENSE to move him now with Scott as insurance and draft a CB in round 1. Jackson is unlikely to be back next year, and you probably upgrade both Nickel and Safety. If they are considering trading up, Delane could fall into their crosshairs--unlikely, but he could. If not, they could like Terrell or McCoy---just sayin.
  18. Proctor is gonna be a love/hate prospect and even his lovers will likely admit that the bust factor is high. You gotta want a giant mauler of an OT to love him and even if you want a giant mauler OT you're still concerned if he's going to have the movement skills in space to handle NFL speed rushers. Honestly, I think he's gonna bust.
  19. Agree. Tackle is a huge long term need and we put a bandaid on it for this year. Moton or Walker goes down and we are in trouble. I don't think we pass on Mauigoa, Fano, or Freeling at 19, but I bet none are there anyway, which would free us up to go safety, ILB, or defensive end. I think the WR/TE talk is hoping for a trade back. Remember, we b.s.'ed the draft w/ the no. 8 Tet pick last year.
  20. I've been on the Lomu bandwagon too. Best pure LT in the class.
