Looks like I glanced at Delhomme vs Warner attempts back when AZ was sucking so bad. Larry Fitzgerald was bigger and more consistent than 89. God doesn't give everyone the same tools. I mean, if you shrunk Megatron and probably changes in his rank position. 89 was more entertaining. 89 quit on that 2010 team. 89 would often prioritize himself over the team and was a poo teammate (and we as a collective fanbase embrace so many of his demons). You didn't have that w/ Fitz. Same demons that make 89 literally not even run routes and show up for his team because he had to take plays off to "show" Richard Sherman something.......are the same demons that had him assault his teammates often w/ cheap shots. I would assume if most were building a team from scratch and have the option of Fitz vs 89.....Fitz is winning that in a landslide.

Carolina only surpassed ARZ in passing attempts one time in Smith's whole career in Carolina. While ARZ was had several years in the top 10 in attempts, of which Carolina had none. We were a running team. It's a testament to Smitty that he was able to build a HOF with the opportunities he had. I think if he had a stretch of his prime with Peyton, or Brady he would have embarrassed a lot guys. He would have had a shot a 2k yard season. - Today

I agree, but I still think with all the draft capital Tulsky will pull off trade we never saw coming

100%. I get that being the only latino HC in the league comes with social pressure to set a good example, but I've always felt that Ron's respectability BS did the team a disservice from his stoicism on field to the tie incident to not having much to say about the protests in Charlotte. I think it's a big reason why Jerry Richardson liked Ron.

Where are you finding a 2G better than Freddie?

I don’t love Granlund but he’s the only 2C option out there right now. Since we have a ton of cap space I’d give him a bloated two year contract and basically pay Ehlers whatever. I’d also ship KK out for whatever and bring back Kuzy to center the fourth line. If we can move Ghost out and bring in someone like Karlsson then I’d go ahead and do that. I also don’t hate Burns for one more year. It’s a huge no on Orlov though. Rod would have to get over himself and let Chatfield play his off side though. Otherwise you simply can’t bring Burns back because he’s a third pairing guy who needs a speedy guy like Chatfield that can bail him out. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - Granlund - Stankoven Carrier - Staal - Martinook Hall - Kuznetsov - Blake Jankowski - Robinson Slavin - Karlsson Nikishin - Walker Chatfield - Burns Morrow

Woah!....nice to see Kelvin Benjamin is getting back in shape... -
I've heard Ehlers and Granlund. That's about it FA wise minus Orlov and Burns.
-
As long as he’s the third guy I’m good with it. This isn’t exactly a punt year but in no way are the Hornets competing for a championship. Might as well see what Moose and Kalk can do with extended minutes.

The market turned really bad for the Canes really fast. This turned out to be a terrible year to have a lot of cap space with how much the cap rose. At this point I suspect they’ll make a hard run at Ehlers and then run everything else back.

Decided I'm going to Green Bay as well. Definitely won't be sitting front row though. Looks like row 60 is more expensive than front row in ax5

GOD DAM! Shams Charania @ShamsCharania Free agent center Mason Plumlee has agreed to a one-year, $3.6 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets, sources tell ESPN. The Hornets get some frontcourt depth, completing a contract with Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports for Plumlee's 13th NBA season.

We’ve aquired G Cayden Primeau from Montreal for a 2026 7th round pick. Played in 11 games last year for Montreal. https://www.nhl.com/hurricanes/news/canes-acquire-cayden-primeau-from-montreal

Refs had it out for Cam after that. ED was chief king poo among the refs, they had to defend their boy...

I could be waaaaaaay off about Kon. I do fault myself into, to borrow a NFL phrase heavily "RAS" nerd on players, too much. There are PLENTY of athletic freak shows that are playing overseas(or Amazon delivery) cause they never figured out NBA ball. I can easily miss seeing the talent. Plus did he only have 2 dunks on the season??(is that for real??) I didn't watch over a few hours of duke, but not one point did I think "That Kon guy is a top 4 pick in the upcoming draft". IMO I still foresee Ball bringing the ball up, doing his weak isolation game and never even looking for Kon. That's his best trait according to everyone, shooting right? I do not see ball, bridges, miller or even williams making the extra pass to Kon for him to shoot a 3. Then defense-wise, Im not ready to type the amount of questions I foresee in his ability for guarding NBA SGs or bench SFs for that matter. Not that NBA players care to defend, but still..... I just feel he's a bad fit for the current hornets, trades are taking place tho... Liam to me is a decent comp for Kon and he fell some, but was a 29 overall pick. Still around 13-21 was the good solid range for Liam and I thought the same for Kon. This is just a classic case of I need to see it. It add to this, Kon is like garlic. Ball is like sugar and Miller is like flour. Mix it together and chef Lee is not going to get me to eat that dish..... Honestly I don't know why Im this vocal about Kon. In past years I would be patience and not post and see what the kid has. The other side, insert classic white boy terms here- _____, ______, _______< etc >. Hornets do desperately need them. His crafty back door cuts, his willingness to stay a extra 2 hours to refine lees plays, keep playing with bruised limbs. I heard from many reports he's mentally tough and hornets by all gods need that. God they are such pussys. I hope Im wrong and if so, I will give Kon his just props.
