PANTHERS @ HURRICANES ROUND 3 GAME 1
kungfoodude replied to PantherChris's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
It is true. He gets up for a Ruskie goalie for whatever reason. -
PGA Tour disrespect Dave Tepper and the Carolina Panthers

The Evolution of the Panthers WR Room from 2023 to 2025
Aussie Tank replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
It might not be this year or even next but I hit a feeling Horn is gonna be a weapon -
I do agree. But it's worth noting we tended to think the same thing this time last year when we opened the season with back to back road games. We better be getting all these guys reps in the preseason

They won't because Koochie gets +20 all stats buff by playing against a Russian goalie. - Today

Bobs and their goonery concern me. Especially with adding king goon in Marchand. They really are such a hateable team. -
The Evolution of the Panthers WR Room from 2023 to 2025
mav1234 replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's weird to think that WR may be a major strength of this team by end of year. Of course, when you use a top 10 draft pick a year after a first rounder, that IS a big deal.... -
I am with you but at this point a winning season and 10-7 would double our win total of 2024. I would be glad to get to that point and then contemplate how to get to the next level. The reason we just talk about a winning culture but we don't experience it is because we had peach basket turnover in players and coaches. This is Canales second year. There is actually thought that this might be the guy, a Pete Carroll clone who might be around long enough to actually build a winning tradition. But you got to talk about it and get buy in and actually win more than you lose. Then when you do it for several years you begin to expect it and do whatever it takes to achieve it. That then builds a winning culture

I would LOVE for Renfrow to ressurect his career here but I'd be lying if I said I expected it. He's basically four years removed from being an impactful player and was out of the league altogether last year. The way I see it, it's a low risk move for a hometown kid so fug it... let's give it a shot.

Man Thor Nystrom does not hold back. Two F's? Detroit looks bad. Charges did well w/ Hampton and Harris and then not so goo.

The Evolution of the Panthers WR Room from 2023 to 2025
frankw replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
The best thing going for the receiving group as a whole right now is the amount of promising young and motivated talent. Now the question is can we actually develop them. -
Thomas Fletcher Didn’t Make It, But These Four Did
frankw replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
Realistically these rationalizations and justifications being given for poor to mediocre drafts are no different than the discussions through the early Hurney years. And I'm sure there were people then who defended it and insinuated any skeptics were just being miserable and negative. -
The nfl did us a solid IMO

I'm hoping the Bears implode again this upcoming season because fug them but there's a good chance they trend up with Ben Johnson. There's still a lot of talent on that roster. And let's not forget they obliterated us last season. And that was with a head coach that's since been canned. The "we won the trade" folks might want to wait and see how things shake out.

You are going to feel silly when your guy is cooking on Sundays. He is only a year older than Samuel surprisingly. Honestly our WR room is pretty jammed tight right now. XL, TMac, and AT are locks with probably Coker. The other slots will be for young guys to develop (David Moore is probably gone). Horn has a chance as a returner and I wish Moose Jr has a better shot at making the team but I doubt it...
