Come on bro, of course I know you don’t get paid if you sit out. That’s why the players call it game checks, which are prorated payments for games outside of bonuses. Like I said, I agree he probably wouldn’t have sat out, but when you’re a multimillionaire with a simple life, your future is set. AT’s life is not dependent on money. Don’t confuse his life with the plight of the ordinary man. I have never been a professional athlete but I understand the importance of locker room culture and distractions. Forcing AT to be here would not have gone well.

Would nice to see FSU, UNC and Clemson win

Scrolling through this thread I was going to point out the same thing same as I believe proudiddy also did above you. Guy helped the hell out of BY and the rest of the team. That may hurt us worse than the actual catches he made, though they were nothing to sneeze at either..

Just trying to add proper perspective.

Suuuucks having to worry about the run defense still, but despite that revamped DL the LB room is leaving a lot of question marks. Hoping to see the pass rush develop over the course of the season should Scourton and/or Umanmielen get settled in quickly. I'm hype to see the WRs. TMac, XL, Renfrow, Coker when he gets back, and JHJ is the most interesting WR room we've had in a looong time. Will they be as good as we hope? Will just have to see... I think things will really take off as TMac gets comfortable. The TE room is going to be interesting... Hopefully one of those guys steps up because that would be huge for the offense. Still bummed about Coker's injury despite getting Renfrow back on the roster out of it. I really like the way things were looking running out of 11 with TMac/XL/Coker being big bodies. Tremble or Sanders though kind of tips the hand there. Duo tho? TMac/XL/Tremble/Sanders/Chuba could give some good flexibility. And of course... which Bryce do we get to start in JAX? While he hasn't filled out the stat sheet, the offense hasn't struggled because of him in the preseason which is good... but it didn't exactly excite either. Can't talk about the run game nor the QB without thinking about the OL. Does Icky make it back? Is that the worst thing that happens to the starters (which would mean that DLew's shoulder doesn't flare back up)? Aaaaaaahhhhh so excited for football being back.

I was watching the Vikings preseason game vs. (I forget) and there was an undrafted free agent from Minnesota playing--his reads were lightning quick and he was accurate. My interest was in seeing what the Vikings had on their roster who might be able to help us, and I wanted to see (later) if they put this qb on their PS. They did not--they have him as the #3 QB behind Wentz. In my view, he is going to be a very solid NFL qb in time. I wonder if we could have picked him up in the AT trade, which is my point. Max Brosmer. He reads quickly and his footwork is excellent. He does not overreact to pressure. Lot to like about him. I know this is "woulda, shoulda, coulda," but damn, we can't put all our chips on a 5'10" QB who is unproven in his third season as starter. Normally I don't start threads like this, but I think we could have grabbed a player who has all the fundamentals to be a good NFL QB for a long time. Would I cut Dalton? I dunno. Maybe keep 3, but Dalton has not shot at the future here--

wtf… I can’t… I just can’t with this team.
-
Moore will likely be starting slot
-
Earl Little Jr for FSU is a lot of fun to watch play the rover position in their defense. He comes downhill like a missile.
-
Upset alert!! Overrated SEC team in trouble vs ACC team
-
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
-
Cmon FSU! Fug Bama!
-
But can Renfrow ?
-
Coker was/is hardly our best receiver. No need to debate it; wait and see the results.

He has to get healthy and stay healthy for there to be potential. If I'm being honest even when he finishes rehab and begins gradually getting onto the field again we're all going to be holding our collective breath. If we're thinking it then it also has to have some level of effect on Brooks himself too. It's a tough situation for an athlete. Dowdle could be one and done or he could stick around. It all depends on what transpires. He was a one thousand yard back last year so I would not write him off as already out the door just yet.

I hope Renfrow tears it up
-
It's the Panthers way.

Damn! That hurts Damn, that hurts! Penalties that take away points also take days off a coach's lifespan.

I have never heard the Mission Impossible theme played by a marching band before

Accurately. That's the key difference. Arch has the same throwing motion up top but his feet and hips and all over the place. Bruh is out there looking like Uncle Rico. Except Uncle Rico actually hit Napoleon Dynamite right in the face. Arch would've missed by a solid ten feet.
-
Ehhh this dude played like 17 nfl seasons doing it
-
His right tackle (Brandon Baker, was it?) had a couple of critical penalties.
-
Arch definitely needs 2 full years way too raw as I can see it now. You can see the throwing power and occasional beautiful throws but he's way too erratic overall with his accuracy. Texas also lost quite a few big names to the draft as well. Feels like it's going to be a learning season for Arch

That was way more than "kinda fun" to me Admittedly, I am not an Ohio State fan so seeing them lose would have been more fun. I do kinda like this Sayin kid. Gonna keep an eye on him.
