Go Falcons! (they win out & we're IN no matter what)
coffee replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
How strange. No one wants the NFCS Title. (1) The Falcons have done everything imaginable to give it to us. (2) The Saints stink but have done everything imaginable to keep it from us. (3) The Bucs spent half a season in each role. (4) We keep shooting ourselves in the foot when it's right there for the taking. Ironic that the end result will come down to all four of these factors this weekend. -
Who is actually the best team in the NFC South?

If we had a pass rush and a real NFL qb.. Too bad those aren't just available at every corner store. -
Who is actually the best team in the NFC South?
LinvilleGorge replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
The team that wins the game between the Saints and Falcons. They're clearly the two best teams in the NFC South right now and would be playing for the division crown if they'd played their current starting QBs all season. -
Staal

It is the correct answer

Agree. Many players on this team work their asses off everyday to get to this point and fans have waited for years for an inkling of success. To pull for a loss at this point (as a fan) makes no sense to me. The Tanking argument (which I don’t get either) is closer to rational than this mindset IMO.

Most talented = Falcons Best coached = Saints

Im fine with not being hardcore, that's not why I ever liked football or the Panthers. I check in every season and if it's unwatchable I just do a condensed check-ins. It's all out of my hands but it's fun in different ways if your open to it. See there is something for me to gain. If they lose then I get to laugh, if they win I get to laugh next week. You just can't see that and I can. Perspective is like that. I know they are going to pick up the 5th and nothing big will likely change but if Im wasting hope on a sport then I get to choose how I blow that hope. I choose to laugh and either way I am guaranteed to win again this season before another long offseason of disappointment.

Saints or falcons -
Based on recent play Aints or Falcons. Overall season I think it’s us.

He dominated enough while he played that his early retirement should have no impact. He’s in the same tier as Barry Sanders and Megatron who also had very short careers.

Remember when we passed on malik wills 3 times for matt corral?
Martin replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
I watched part of that game (very small sample size), and he made a bunch of throws Bryce could only dream of. He would threaten the whole field every snap. We have no idea if he will pan out or not, but he looks to have everything you look for in a QB. Sitting for two years in GB looks to really have benefited him. We should not hesitate to go after him hard. -
Right now it's the Saints.

I am not forcing fanhood, I am just pointing out that you probably left that behind and it isn't likely to come back. That's happened to be before in sports. You think it can be turned on and off but that usually only the case with bandwagoners. If you were a hardcore fan, once that goes away, it rarely ever comes back. But make no mistake, there is nothing to gain from losing and missing the playoffs. At really any level.

Panthers post game. Thomas Davis and J Stew
kungfoodude replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Darnold has always been brimming with ability. It was experience(people forget how incredibly football inexperienced he was/is) and largely between the ears. The first part he is starting to get past, the second is a mountain he has yet to climb. Truthfully, based on experience, he should have been a Day 3 pick and been left to develop on rosters for several years to get up to the experience even required to play NFL QB. Bryce is considerably different. He has zero of the natural ability that Darnold has. His edge was supposed to be that wealth of experience and his mental abilities to break down the game at an elite level. Well, none of that has transpired and he appears to have some of the exact same mental issues that Darnold does and then some. He is one of the least confident QB's that has ever played here. He does not trust his ability to make NFL level throws. -
Again, you can't force fanhood on someone else. Everyone does it however they want regardless. Im doing me and cheering for them to lose on Sunday. Be perplexed I guess, it's really not hard once you understand we all can fan however we want. Im not in a cult so I really don't have to play by anyone else's rules bro.

Talk about a window where we really could have used that JayZ 7 year model coming into play. We should really be close about now …..and in a weak divsion and NFC.
