  1. Past hour
  2. Just try to enjoy it for what it is. I don't need to convince myself that Young is good. He isn't. If this team makes the playoffs with the cinder block of Young dragging them down all season, even better. But, some crucial things still need to happen, and being close, and moral victories, and at-least-they-tried isn't good enough.
  3. I look at it like this, if we get swept by the 3-10 Saints, then we have no business even talking about playoffs in the first place.
  4. BEAT THE GOD DAMN SAINTS. NO EXCUSES. PROVE YOU'RE IT. JUST fuging DO IT. IT'S THE GOD DAMN SAINTS. fug DREW BREES.
  5. Packers lost to the Browns this year heck, in the disaster finale Rule season, with an interim HC, the week after we cut CMC and starting PJ….we whipped Tom Brady. good teams lose to bad teams all the time, good teams lose to meh/average teams every single weekend in sports, multiple times over. You can not be a good team and have good wins. Really bad teams generally can’t stack multi good wins but average teams can
  6. I don’t think Canales is a serious contender now. Vrabel is it. 4-13 last year, he comes in they are 11-2. I don’t see anyone beating that.
  7. I have absolutely no idea wtf he was doing with his hands on that deep ball. He must have misjudged the ball. His route running actually looked pretty damn good tho
  8. I understood it. A lot of people didn’t. Lost patience and sight of the reality, which was we were only 3 points down for all those three and outs. If you put it in Bryce’s hands and he makes a mistake we are down two scores quick. To paraphrase Greg Cosell: the way you have to play with Bryce Young. This 4 game stretch is gonna be interesting. Up until three games ago we had bad Bryce more often than good Bryce. Then he plays 2 of his 3 best ever games and that’s it? No more bad Bryce? Or what is it gonna be?
  9. I think the biggest reason why David Tepper gets a bad rap is because he does things to deserve it It's genuinely possible that he's learned though, and I'm willing to give him the benefit of a doubt that he is at least capable of doing so.
  10. Today
  11. Okay so… it is the year before that needs to be Ohio State? Because there will be a new champ in late January. Before the Super Bowl. I am confused. I looked back.. SB 38 was played Feb 1 2004. Basically the 2003 NFL season. The NCAAF champs for the 2003 season were … I am seeing LSU - winners of the Sugar Bowl played on Jan 4 2004. Strange logic.
  12. We were beat in the 2015 season at that game vs Falcons. They kept us from going undefeated (okay, I have other opinions as to why that happened, but even so -- we were THE dominant team that year, and still found a way to lose a game)
  13. He didn't have a great stats game the first time, but those 3 yard runs when they needed 2, and 5 yard runs when they needed 4, etc. really hurt after a while. He kept their drives alive.
  14. Hey y’all - tomorrow in Nola we have a Second Line through the Quarter. It’s basically a parade of Panthers fans led by a police escort to clear the roads and a 6 piece brass band. If you’re in town come join us - it’s good fun. Saturday 4p Ghost Bar is the starting point Go Panthers!
  15. I put the rest of my cheeseburger money on the Panthers to beat the Saints this weekend. I have faith the boys will get it done. If not, just fade me.
  16. Because he is confident they are measurably better than us, and he doesn't want his team buying into the talk about being losers and flopping at the end of the season. Not saying it is right, not saying it will be effective. They've won the division 5 or 6 straight times though, and were the favorite to win this year as well. The bottom has fallen out only since their bye week. At 1 point there was talk of being #1 in the NFC and Mayfield as MVP.
  17. Tepper gets a bad rap mostly because the team hasn’t been successful. But across the league, most owners aren’t great; they just get lucky hiring smart people who make them look good. There are some truly awful owners, but Tepper is no were near Stephen Ross or Woody Johnson. its are levels to this.
  18. Winning fixes everything. We're in the lead, for at least this moment, and like being on a sled dog team, the view from the front is much, much more pleasant. I think the team is ahead of schedule right now. And I like that. Would really love to see us win out the rest of these games. And in the playoffs, anything can happen.
  19. I don't have to see no more from this season to know that its been a success, we are playing with house money.
  20. Yup. Top gear for top gear, panthers lose by 2 plus scores. High gear panthers vs an elite’s team middle gear is probably a 3 point game either way. High level Panthers football looks like the third quarter of the Rams game. This team has 2 very solid backs and a powerful line. That can make any game close.
  21. The team wasn't going to send him on his way anyways.
  22. well, would be a disclaimer on that, they could beat anyone w/ that strategy if a team doesn't show up or plays poorly. We could play the Rams 10 times and play well in most, they are going to beat us the majority of the time. Pretty big disparity in talent still exists IMO.
  23. This. If Bryce can just be a game manager and Canales leans in to the run game, this team can beat anyone in the league. Bryce can make clutch throws in clutch moments, but asking him to do it all game is a recipe for failure.
