Need to draft a LT and plan on moving Ickey to G at some point. Not many players get back to the same level after that injury. It’s also concerning because Moton is getting some age on him. Ekwonu missed a game a few weeks ago, and I wonder if the pre-cursors were present them and he played through it

He also called a holding penalty on the bills number 26 ty Johnson who is inactive, this guy is a clown

I was talking with a friend about it and mentioned, thought it’s hard to say bc the TV angle live doesn’t show the routes downfield, but it looked like a combination of all or most of the routes being long-developing and Bryce wanting to be a hero so he wasn’t looking for something quick - combined with getting pressured every snap almost immediately, and the calls Dave was making not helping Bryce, all we did was burn 15+ seconds out of the 30-something we had left. That drive couldn’t have been any worse. I’ve seen a lot of people put it in Horn for the drop, but Horn shouldn’t have even been in that position. We should have hit quick poo slants, drags, flats, etc., and picked up what we could early and use the timeouts accordingly on those early downs. Then, once you cross midfield, they have a lot more to think about and our options are a lot more vast.

Man.. This team has so many needs. It wouldn't be the worst idea to draft a tackle, but there isn't an OT I'm a huge fan of that could be available in the 19 range. Caleb Lomu had a lot of preseason hype, but he had an underwhelming season. Got worked by Texas Tech's edge rushers. Lacks fundamental strength. Kadyn Procter projects better as a guard with his lack of foot speed. The edge rushers leave a lot to be desired in this range as well.

I wish I understood it better, but we focused nearly 100% of resources on offense entering 2025, and we sucked on D--worst ever. I did not expect to be above average this year. I don't think we have seen the system with the right personnel, and if Evero is given his pass rush and maybe a good LB, we might see it differently. Glass half full.

Buffalo is going to win the game

I love this personally. Question the last drive all you want. A lot of that could have been the absence of horn and having a new corner who hadn't played much on the outside, but simply you aren't in the playoffs without the defenses play this year. Horn and jackson made a killing with ints this year.. and that's without a reliable pass rush. Coming off historically the worse defense ever with a lack of players you give him brown back and a few rookies and your back to an average defense. That shows coaching isn't the issue it's lack of chess pieces to make the system work. If he isn't force to blitz to generate pressure which he clearly doesn't like to do his defense is even better. I think he's a top 10 defensive mind.

The worst part about losing last night
ProcessBlue2 replied to ProcessBlue2's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah it never changed last night. I thought it would once it got darker but it stayed red. There also wasn’t a flyover at the national anthem. I think it was due to the overcast. It never rained last night but it was really cloudy. What’s funny is the towels. At the Tampa game they gave out black towels and left them in the cup holders and you could tell it was rushed because they were real poo quality, almost like painted with stencils and thrown in a pile. They handed out blue ones last night at the gate that were a lot nicer. -
I like it, get him some talent and let him cook

Carolina Panthers pick No. 19-2026 NFL Draft

I will say the tackling overall was improved compared to years past as well, the secondary was tons better, and I loved that we finally seemed aggressive and played with that smashmouth-style we had been missing for years. But, it is obvious we had some holes, and having no edge rush was a pretty gigantic one. But it’s also interesting because I just shared a clip of Princely where they asked him about there being no edge rush and he said, “it’s not because we don’t have the players.” And it sounded like he felt we didn’t need to bring anyone in. He also said he didn’t get enough opportunities. So it could be ego talking, but it definitely sounded like he was implying our scheme/strategy is the reason there was no edge rush.

Impressive to get a shot for a FG... and it was for nothing.

2026 Panthers Free Agents… who you keeping and who can walk

What’s the cap looking like? Cause all these guys look like they can be resigned for cheap. -
I feel like this team has been cursed since they did Cam dirty, maybe mending the relationship could break that curse

Give me Tyler Allegeier, he’s money in short yardage and has no fumbles in four years (737 touches). I don’t think his cost would be too high.
