10 years ago, the reactions to this thread would have at the least made me question myself and what I’m seeing in my evaluation versus what I’m feeling. But not now. I know where this mentality comes from and we’re seeing it unfold in real-time, everyday in society. Call someone else dumb while any and all statistics supports their argument, but if you just keep doubling down, you can make people forget about facts. It’s also why my replies to this despite 16 pages have been pretty sparse outside of one, and that post was mostly ignored because it called the BS out for what it is. I don’t take it personal, because I know for them, it is VERY personal. Not a person alive on this planet is going to tell me, nor convince me, that any other starter in the NFL isn’t more physically talented than Bryce. We have all read and seen the stats - 32nd out of 32 starters since being drafted. We have watched the games. Countless games where Bryce struggles to hit 100 yards until the 4th. Countless times he fumbles untouched, trips over his own feet, under throws or throws behind, or just throws straight to a defender who has been lurking in the same spot from the snap. But, there is this mysterious ancient metric that us simpletons have not gained access to, that makes him better than the stats and eye test combined. Kyler Murray is wildly physically gifted, but especially for his size. He has a laser arm, and he’s a quick, twitchy athlete. Baseball background, multi-sport star. And he’s statistically better than Bryce. In my observations and estimation, his only downside is I don’t think he has ever applied himself and he doesn’t prepare as he should. He relies on his talent alone, and I think that also carries over to questions about leadership. But, all of that considered, these guys don’t want him over Bryce. So again, I ask why? The same logic is applied to Shedeur. Hell, I would apply the same logic to Brissett. Jameis. Any fuging body with physical talent to throw a football. If you have the worst starter in the league, proven over almost three full years, what do you owe him? Hint: It’s not another year. One can deduce from that point that you could easily find a replacement that will give you better production, even from someone who isn’t a current starter. I knew society had gotten dumber, but damn… “don’t tell me what’s better! I want to keep fuging myself and nobody can stop me!”

https://www.theringer.com/podcasts/the-ringer-fantasy-football-show/2025/12/10/power-ranking-which-qbs-could-change-teams-eagles-therapy-and-a-fantasy-recap-with-chris-ryan-plus-fantasy-court Here is a good discussion from the guys at the ringer about qbs that could be on the move in the offseason and which teams may need new qbs. They go in depth about Bryce and the panthers, his trade value etc. They are not high at all on bryce, like the others (Mike kay, person, Fowler) the only value bryce has at this point is his cheap contract. -
I’ll be your huckleberry.

well, you will have to excuse me with not crediting wins or losses to players that factually aren't credited to them. That's not what we do. Rattler had 21 pass attempts that game....which is more pass attempts than Bryce Young had in the GB or Rams game. That wasn't a Shough game. The 2nd round rookie came in for Saints final drive of the 3rd quarter down multiple scores. so yeah, if you want to be objective about Shough this year, you evaluate him as a starter. Gameplans on both sides of the ball for him.

The FO panicked and threw a bunch of money at a need, which is their MO. We can get off of it after next year, though.

i think the best way to look at this would be to somehow look at just thr top 10 qbs in the league stats each year. the rest of the qbs dont really matter that much for this. i agree it seems to be a down year for thd top qbs the crappy qbs suck every year so dont see as much change with them.

Cool -
Ben Johnson would take Bryce Young over Caleb Williams
-
This is good for us considering the Falcons are like 3rd in sacks this season. I still say the easier path is for Atlanta to win tomorrow and us to win the next two games.

Anybody sense something off about this?

I’m going to today. I’ve been off work too long combined with too much time invested in this season. -
Is this the best timed ‘bye’ we’ve ever had

Only if we take advantage of it. If we come out and stink it up, meh… -

Please touch grass. -
Yeah the way defenses are playing is making QBing harder at the moment
-
Rather have Howell. Rivera said he asked too much too early in Washington.

It's all contingent on how we do down the stretch. I remember dreading the game after a bye with Ron Rivera. -

I was gonna say depth. The experience those guys have is minimal. -
I mean, I keep trying to get this point across but it's wild how there doesn't exist any statistic on this planet that shows Bryce to be better than Kyler nor apparently any reasonable measure at all other than, "Cause I said so." Well, I guess if that's the way you want to make an argument, I can just never be wrong at all. Sounds pretty familiar in this modern society we have here.....

You ain’t wrong. But the Linebackers do help. Experience alone can make a big difference -
Both statistically and the "eye test" lean extremely heavily towards Kyler. Kyler is extremely, extremely, EXTREMELY clearly a better overall QB than Bryce. There is literally no compelling argument to be made because no one has been able to make one other than "I don't like him!" Is he a top 20 QB? Probably not. But compared to Bryce, he's a very good QB.

And Freddie is in there as well! Bussi and Freddie are among three goalies in the last 12 years to score 9 wins in their first 10 NHL games.

Screw it give those ban those super smug ND football teams, just let them play D3 schools for the next five years.

Its ok on my end, you people would hate my guts if I was the Carolina panthers owner...... -
Heres a key stat- Rams averaged 7.4 yards each play..... I REPEAT 7.4 YARDS EACH SNAP. I forgot the posters name, but I said a long the lines defense didn't do much outside the TOs...Like watching the game- Rams run play 12 yards. Next play Rams pass for 29. Next play TE screen 7 yards. Just like watching a big college team vs DII team. Panthers on one TO was in the end zone and the fumble was in the red zone too. Rams did it to the cards too, I think the best job in the NFL is being the current rams punter.
