  1. Past hour
  2. I like that the players we are signing are prototypical height/weight for their positions. BY comments incoming....
  3. Trading out of the first lost some of the appeal with the inclusion of fifth year options. Only thing that mitigates it is a future first.
  4. I stopped worrying about the cap years ago. Its 2025. Very smart people get paid handsomely to manage it. They grew up in the cap era. Its not journalists and football guys tasked with complex economics anymore.
  5. Today
  6. I like the idea of a trade down but not sure about trading out of the first altogether. Valid and logical points for both. I think it really depends on how the board falls but the idea shouldn’t be completely off the table.
  7. Me too. If you consider the recent upswing in GM and coaching performance and even ownership performance, it does feel like a return to something close to the good ol days isn't unimaginable.
  8. Kayden McDonald looks like a 2nd round trade up possibility.
  9. If they select a S I like Thieneman out of Oregon.
  10. I'd rather have Burns with cinderblocks as shoes than Miller right now.
  11. Draft a RT on day 2 or 3 and then see how Walker and Ekwonu shake out. Never skimp on tackles as at the very least they are trade capital. Theres no such thing as overdoing it at OT.
  12. Absolutely. Also having Lewis, Hunt and Moton as a crew will help him shine too. A true win-win. We fill a glaring hole with a guy on a prove it deal and he gets to up his stock for next offseason.
  13. I think more people need to watch his tape, dude is an absolute bulldozer in the run game. I genuinely believe drafting Kayden McDonald paired with D Brown and our improved defense that we would have the best run defense in the league.
  14. Filling our holes gives us this flexibility, a trade back paired with BPA would set this franchise even further up.
  15. If I moved out of the 1st I'd want a future 1st as part of the package.
  16. Honestly probably an upgrade in pass pro, a little drop off in the run game, and a prove it year from him to get one big contract while he's still in his prime so he's going to take it seriously
  17. Worse than that, if he had not been injured he gets extended and the first year does not have to be 17.4 or whatever the hell his 5th year contract pays. They could have cut it down with the planned extension that did not happen.,
