  1. Past hour
  2. If that’s true, why were the top 4 highest FA safeties this year all above 70 run grade and below 60 coverage grade? While Peppers is getting cut?
  3. Luvu is viewed by a lot of people as a top 10 linebacker, and we said no thanks. Dre Greenlaw is viewed by a lot of people as a top 10 linebacker, has been getting raved about in Denver camp, was a unrestricted FA looking for a starting spot, and we said "we'd rather give a backup DT more money" Two extremely puzzling decisions considering our 32nd ranked LB core and our GM is a freaking ILB, but I guess it's possible that both really didn't want to come/stay here
  4. Nothing emotional about it it is called pride if my Fortune 500 company cut me, no way in sweet hell would I leave the one that treated me well, gave me a raise and resurrected my career for one that didnt value me and kicked my ass to the curb but that is me everyone is different the same with Cam Newton. No way would I come back to have butts in the seats for Tepper and Rhule.
  5. Renfrow deserved a spot on this team.the film I saw was him running hard cutting hard and catching balls.the guy should be playing for the panthers he would make us better.
  6. If it was said Julius Peppers is available, I would listen.
  7. Look like the perfect compliment to me.
  8. Those are the types of safeties you can get on the cheap. Safeties get paid for coverage unless you're stuck in the 80s and 90s.
  9. I mean most of us would be thrilled to see a reversal of fortune for the pick. But it seems to be a longshot right now. Furthermore the whole point of drafting RB's is to get the most production through their rookie contract. Which we have not done.
  10. Ummmmm Chinn and Luvuu have worked out pretty well so far
  11. I don’t think better version is the right phrase. Even looking at their grades, you can see they’re extremely different players. One is an elite run defender that struggles in coverage and can get to the QB when asked. The other is coverage first, and does not get to the QB when asked. after what I saw on the field last season I still have 0 issues at all with us getting a safety who can enforce run d
  12. I mean he had 12 total touches.... not even enough to get in a rythem and that was spread over 3 games.
  13. I don’t think there’s a chance in hell salah would come here. we hired a head coach no other team interviewed and I think there’s a reason for that.
  14. Today
  15. He got overpayed for cleanup tackles on a crap D. That's like giving Wallace that kind of deal IMO.
  16. You gotta think he is going to have options. For him to come here its going to be with the panther tax with god knows how many years. I would rather just play the young guy, roll the money and focus on 26 in making a real push to see what we have.
  17. I hope I'm wrong about Moehrig but I never understood backing up the Brinks truck for him. He's the type of safety you can generally grab for pretty cheap and lo and behold here's a better version of Moehrig available on the trash heap on the eve of the season.
  18. I don't see any harm in kicking the tires.
  19. I was just talking about having 1 safety on thr field that is worth playing
  20. Wouldn't even be that. We still need two starting safeties. It would be more saying that Nick Scott stinks (facts) and we don't want to be backed into relying on a 4th round rookie.
  21. Sign him and just admit Moehrig stinks
  22. If I have to see Nick Scott’s slow ass on the field again getting burned deep for the 4th time that game I’m going to turn off the damn TV. Plain and simple Evero fuging sucks as a talent evaluator and all his hand picked players have been colossal busts, hello Dj Johnson, Nick Scott, Jordan Fuller, Josey Jewell.
  23. We used a fourth on Trevor Etienne so its sounds like we are hedging our (bad) bet. If Brooks can play in '26, I guess we let Dowdle go and end up w/ a rb room of a 4th, 2nd, and 4th round picks, which seems like a lot of draft capital to me for the position. This year's draft had rbs go in the first (1), second (2), 3rd (1), fourth (6), fifth (3), sixth (4), seventh (6). I think the Dolphins will end up with a steal in Ollie Gordon in the sixth.
