Carolina Panthers pick No. 19-2026 NFL Draft

Never trade away future 1st rd picks again. Could of had Caleb or Drake and given up nothing -
From a different thread…. Here’s the strength of schedule rankings for each team we’re playing next season. No idea how other teams’ SoS impacts us
-
Sir. Let's look at this logically. We won a game that was against the Jets and our offense successfully made one trip to the end zone. One. Most of our games we won within a single score. We had a lot of luck bounce our way. We had some bad calls but we also got a lot of make up calls in our favor. All in all can't expect a repeat of that. Also as ugly as our division was at one point I expect things to even back out next year. The Falcons hiring a good coach could be a thorn in our sides for years. The Saints are up and coming and swept us with a rookie QB. The Bucs are still a good team regardless of how they faltered down the stretch and honestly if they seek out a new coach they could be even more of a problem. Like I said. Things could look a lot different this summer.

Carolina Panthers pick No. 19-2026 NFL Draft

Panthers have zero pass rush and the identity needs to change. The team needs to go all in on pass rush and change the identity of the defense. Trade: Panthers Receive: Maxx Crosby Raiders Receive: 2026 1st, 2027 1st, 2026 3rd, Then in free agency, pair him with one of the veteran pass rushers like Khalil Mack, Joey Bosa or Hassan Reddick. Releasing Patrick Jones frees up 10.1 million. 2nd round draft: LB Anthony Hill, Jr. Alabama, Taurean York, Texas A&M, or Lander Barton, Utah 3rd Round: QB Drew Allar, Penn State. Love his size and arm. Could develop under Bryce while Bryce plays out his option. -
Rumor is that Tepper reached out to Cam personally with a mea culpa. The grinch’s heart grew three sizes that day

I’m a huge fan of his and a believer in him. Could see a slide because I think he’ll measure under 6’2”. There’s also going to be a ton of talk about fit. 4-3 end, 3T, or what I believe 3-4 standup rusher. I also don’t know how he’ll test. He has amazing explosiveness in his lower body, but I don’t know how well he’ll fly in the vert or broad because his body is uniquely dense. -

Tou think he can overcome his limitations? And being patient requires an ext. You up for doing that? -
This and as others have said, his previous years of underperforming play makes me say no. FA is the way to go for sure as this years group is pretty loaded. In addition to Pitts, vets like Goedert, Likely, Otton, Njoku and Waller are a few to ponder. Sadiq would be an option at 19 too, but I wonder if we want to see if one of Sanders or Evans shakes free into a decent player while leaning on a more veteran presence for Bryce.

We regress but still win 7/8 games. Maybe lower if we have to replace Icky. -

The only teams I don't want to see win it are the 49ers Eagles or Bears. -

This^^^. The strength of schedule means nothing until the games are played next season. It always changes as the season plays out. -

I agree, but maybe if we set aside the hyperboles we were sold pre-draft, maybe some patience will pay off? -

Jacksonville is my geographical B team. Chargers were my darkhorse pick to do something. If Josh Allen and the Bills are going to win the Superbowl, as everyone has noted, there is no Mahomes, Burrow or Jackson in his way this year. Unfortunately this is probably the worst of the recent Bills playoff teams. I wouldn't necessarily hate them winning it all, but I do question if they are good enough this year. Should be a good rest of the playoffs. -

Every year good teams turn bad and bad teams get good. Who knows how hard the schedule will really be. -

Where he was drafted and what we gave up is the only reason he is still starting -
Only if he was cheap. He's a serial underperformer.

Obviously that was all media hype and not based on anything concrete. -
I would suggest to be very wary of players that suddenly produce in a contract year.
