  1. Past hour
  2. Defense only gave up 20 points, under 100 rushing yards, and under 300 total yards. 1 sack, 4 TFL, 4 QB hits, and 5 PDs. That’s pretty respectable considering how the offense put them in some bad spots. Also TMac is legit, JT is coming along, Tremayne showed a little something, Princely got a sack, Ransom made some plays. Maybe just maybe we can develop some young talent from a change and build a roster. Shout out to Smith-Wade as well who offenses tend to avoid with Horn.
  3. Not guaranteed of course but 80%+ with the ridiculous roughing call. Generally speaking we're saying the same thing - when it matters, he just can't play.
  4. Under Tepper everyone's seat starts out warn. It's only a matter of how long it takes for it to get hot. How Canales handles his qb situation and how the rest of the team looks this season will determine how hot it gets by game 17.
  5. I recognize he didn't have a ton of time but he seemed to be indecisive on that final drive. One of the reasons he found success on the previous was how fast the ball seemed to come out
  6. What impact then? That's usually what you say if your stud DT is anchoring a strong run D, but we're not stopping the run. I notice top DT's all the time. Chris jones, Jalen Carter, Q Williams, Vita Vea, J Simmons etc . Look what Calais Campbell just did to us. I'll give Brown a pass for now because he's coming back from a season ending injury, but his impact has been disappointing
  7. Virginia Tech fire Brent Pry after 0-3 start. He is getting nearly 7mill to go away. That's great $ to fail so bad. This will also decimate the recruiting cycle too.
  8. I guarantee this team and a lot of room temp IQ fans consider this a win and it’s fuging not. Keep pounding ahh game
  9. Murray is not a very good QB this isn't a newsflash. Bryce Young threw the ball 55 times. Fifty five. And he still had less yards per attempt than Kyler Murray and only 108 more yards on 30 more attempts. 30 more attempts. Unreal.
  10. Are there Bryce homers? I know there are some folks who, even if he has the game of his life, will never forgive him for not being 6'3. (or, in some cases, not being Cam Newton) I don't give a sh-t about his size if he can consistently play at an NFL level. Sadly, the jury's still out on that. I have seen him play well, but not enough that I'm confident.
  11. I'd take the toolsy guy this time around and sit him behind a veteran for a year
  12. I wouldn't say a guaranteed W but they'd at least give you a chance. Bryce didn't give us a chance and THAT is precisely the problem. He was right back to scrambling around looking timid and unsure, taking bad sacks, and badly missing throws. And that was with the refs throwing flags to give us second and third chances. He still couldn't manage to move us an inch.
  13. It is not trying to explain away. Bryce only played well when the game was out of reach. As soon as there was a chance the Cards could lose the game they put their foot back on the gas and smothered Bryce and that was with multiple defenders out because of injury. Just go compare his stats from the first half and our last drive of the game vs the first 28min of the second half.
  14. Honestly, we’re at a place now if we fired him, who is gonna come here that’s an upgrade? Nobody. hes not getting fired even though he clearly looks unprepared, but he’s gotta be damn close to losing the locker room.
  15. My biggest issue is he doesn't have the tools to succeed in crunch time. When the defense is collapsing in on the QB the elite guys can take off running, or throw a laser 40yds downfield for a first down, or break a tackle to extend a play. Bryce will throw a wounded bird up for grabs, or get touched and fall down. He also seems scared to use his legs bc he knows he's one big hit away from being carted off the field. These are the reasons he gets happy feet in these moments, because he literally has no options. These factors give the opposing defense such a huge advantage. In college he could get away with it, but it was a huge oversight not to consider these factors when we mortgaged our future for this guy. He's a borderline starter in this league. That's what we have.
  16. The biggest problem isnt just that hes bad, its that he COULD be good, and that he has the effort or a drunk toddler. He legit is worthless because he doesnt even try. If Steve Smith had XL's body then he would be not only in the HOF, he would have eclipsed Jerry Rice, but hes fine just being a meme.
  17. QB class looks rough early. That kind of sucks.
  18. Watching Hubbard run shouldn’t award him with a GWD
  19. I still think the defense looked much much better this year than most of last year. The offense / special teams did them no favors until the 4th quarter IMO.
  20. I think this is the first game I've been to in person since he was drafted. He literally doesn't know where he's supposed to be 50% of the time pre snap
  21. First round QB picks find a way to get the win. Fifth round QB picks don't. He was way over drafted.
  22. I think the defense looking somewhat average today is a complete mirage. Playing zone against Kyler Murray has always been the smart play because he’s erratic when he has to pick a defense apart. There are a couple qbs on our schedule this year that are going to absolutely shred this defense with the pass: Love, Allen, Mayfield, Stafford. There’s gonna be some ugly games down the line.
  23. Again. Get what for him? It serves as much purpose as trading Bryce would. Bryce is in his third year and there are still insane people excusing his horrible turnovers.
  24. Atlanta is adverse to scoring touchdowns. We should help them over that next week.
  25. IMO lack of running game is the largest problem. And it has been pedestrian which no one saw this coming. I know Hubbard has to be frustrated. The Tight Ends showed well. As for XL, he creates little to no separation. I would love to see him utilized in slants and crossing routes. He does not strike me as a sideline threat. But with all the physical gifts he has, use him in slants and see if his productivity rises. I would think he is a big RAC threat.
