I do not like the 2015 comparisons. We had a good defense with an elite core and an offense with a good core. This entire team is still a question mark and I will be surprised if we win 9 games.

No you've just become an oldhead my brother. Most popular music is sex/money/drugs is and always has been. The country kids are cute together but it does worry me a bit that Legette's a social media cowboy crush before he's even football famous. Like if Taylor Swift was at the beginning of Kelce's career. Normally athletes have to stay relevant to date in this sphere but buddy has a modeling career waiting for him if his day job doesn't work out.

We did not draft any inside linebackers. We play a 3-4 in which the inside and outside linebackers are different to the extent they have separate position coaches. These are essentially different groups altogether.

Pleasantly surprised. Didn't think Bryce was the type.

Buffalo Bills signing Shaq Thompson
CPantherKing replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
When you realize Shaq had to carry Rhule/Snow and Reich/Canales/Evero after having success under Rivera/McDermott/Wilks and Wilks/Holcomb, you know the problem was never Shaq. -
Optimistic Analysis of "Sneaky" Panther Roster Development
BlazeCarolina replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bitches love Tupperware. I distribute the Brilliance set at Christmas like a true pimp. -
Yeah, it's not necessarily about who is the best player for the moment, it's about the direction we are headed as a franchise. Seems to be that Morgan has doubled down on a youth movement, so why not see it through?
-
No, we just drafted 2 rookies. If we could get him reasonably....
-
"same old Carolina Panthers" is so wild because I remember when we use to actually be good lol now we're synonymous with losing
-
Gano is still in town if anything.
-
lol! Captain. Had no idea he worked for the panthers.

NFC championship confirmed

Did we hire Dan Campbell as our head coach?

Jacoby Windmon really flashed to me when he got snaps late last year, both in the run & pass game. I researched bc I had no idea who he was. As a redshirt junior at Michigan State in 2022, Windmon compiled an impressive first half of the season, leading the nation with six forced fumbles and collecting 5.5 sacks. However, he got into a fight and was suspended for the last 4 games of 2022, then battled injuries and a nondescript 2023 season before being an UDFA last year. PFF gave him a 64 pass rush grade (58/189) last season in his limited snaps, which is good. Windmon generated 3 preasures and a sack in only 11 snaps as a pass rusher. Certainly not bad. Maybe he can develop into a Luvu type player. I do think he's got some legit upside and can claim one of the backup ILB spots. I also think they value Jon Rattigen as a depth ILB and core ST player. Evero usually keeps 5 ILBs, and like others have mentioned they also seem to like Wooten & Cherulus also so thats 6 guys there if you add Jewell & Wallace who will definitely be on the roster. So maybe they dont bring in any further outside help. Like others have said, if they do it will almost certainly be at TC or final cuts at this point.

85 Days until the Season Starts. How you feeling? (GIFs Only)

I think you are absolutely right. I think there will be some "reluctant" cuts in August by other teams and, in my view, that is the best time to pick up some depth. We grabbed some last year and added to our depth.

Just like the CB group, this LB is good enough to take it to TC. Then see where you are. Wallace *should be better and he did set a record for tackles in their first game.....Laugh and nit pick, that's something given the history here. Jewell is solid and should play better too. Like Cherulus, Windmon is fighting to be on the 53. Honestly I only see 4 guys(need to check my roster). Top three are locks, then do you keep Rhattigan over Cherulus AND Windmon?? I didnt even meation the UDFAs, Bam got 300,000 in guarantees. He's firmly in the mix. ST is always overlooked, I'm always do. LB, safety and CB are where your main STers come from.

Optimistic Analysis of "Sneaky" Panther Roster Development
MHS831 replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
I see the design and intentions. However, all have to play to their abilities and beyond it. No slumps, no major injuries, etc. I have not been this optimistic (perhaps my standards are low, like a drunk man picking up chicks at a Tupperware party) in about 7 years. -
That was the move that broke off my relationship with Dave. MFER!!!! With Norman that was the best chance to have back-2-back winning season........Just ride out the tag. If he didn't want to show up, fine his arse. He's getting 16-17 million more than his previous 4 years combined. fug...... He didn't even try and trade him either, just got ultra butt-hurt with feelings and dumped a prime player......... I was not in agreement with long term either. Still one of the best football minds scooped him up and made him the highest paid....... So dumb the whole way it played out. Then he used nearly the whole draft to find Normans replacement and ANOTHER STARTER, just asking for failure. After QB, CB is the hardest spot to play as a rookie. You got to run backwards with a 230 6'3 4.3 40 Juilo Jones???????????? Impossible and Norman did it as well as anyone not named revis. Then next week you got Mike "tying records with Jerry Rice" Evans whos taller...... No breaks next week you got Drew Brees, Closton and cooks with Payton calling plays like a shark in bloody water.

I think you all make good points, but Kungfoodude, in my view, hits the nail on the head. We play him, Wallace gets pined for a season. Wallace (and Cherulus for that matter) are trending up. Not sure we can say that about Pratt--we have seen his peak--we need to find out what we have in Wallace. He needs reps and I am sure he will be better later.

They just need to take Tre or VJ and be done with it

We really only got to see Norman in our system for 1 and a half seasons. He could have been elite for a couple more seasons if given the chance imo. Bradberry was only good. Would have been nice to have Norman and Bradberry together.

Back back comic view!!!

Just to add, Rico Dowdle has legit hands for a RB or even a WR. I do feel its the deepest room in Panthers history. XL Coker Tmac AT White lighting David Moore 2021? Hunter Kobe Hudson Jacolby George Jimmy Horn They normally keep 6. With Tremble being hurt and just if top talent is there, why not keep 7? Then hope and pray 2-3 stay for PS. If hunter is that guy, he can step into ATs role next year and keep the prime top of this group together. I've counted out David Moore, but I've heard he's in great shape and looks younger than his age. My top 6 currently- XL Tmac AT Hunter Coker Kobe Hudson PS- horn, George
