  1. Past hour
  2. Yea I'm thinking they might be content with Wallace and Lloyd as the starters and not look at ILB early in the draft
  3. Saying he had a good year last year is not crowning him. I think he learned from his mistakes, but most GMs are failures regarding the draft. I don't know why drafting players who can contribute is so difficult.
  4. Honestly I still feel edge is still in the top 3-4 needs, about the only change is no longer need to use the first or second or even third picks on edge. disclaimer- huge DL/edge whore. If the 3rd is BPA edge, why not me says....
  5. Best draft Ive seen this year, insane luck with Maulg falling to 19. Low key addressed the CB with lee. Im the #1 Payton whore and that's a steal at 158. You filled needs and got depth and upside too. Randell was my least favorite pick, but if Dan doesn't sign any Vets, 6th round is no problem.
  6. LOL @ asking these nbaers to play D!!!!
  7. For as good the 2025 draft class was, the 24 one is the opposite ..... There's still time and Coker did come from 24, just not having the 1st rounder hurt being Dan's first pick was a trade up to 32. Brooks has talent and recently ran 21 MPH. Just too many ifs and maybe....sanders, Wallace flirts with good play and then get injuries. CSW is being talked of moving to S,ST,___. Crumedy gone and barret was in a near Greg Olson like trade haul.....
  8. Sam Bradford Krik Cousions have another..... My god love to be any of their agents...
  9. 700,000 bonus per active game. Saves Panthers from injuries and gives him a carrot to stay healthy.. done deal!
  10. Today
  11. They ranked him actually 34th, which is 9 spot behind Burns who was 25th in their rankings for last year among edges. Not a big gap on grade though 74 for Phillips vs 75.8 for Burns. How did they get their own rankings wrong??? Lol
  12. The #Panthers OL coaches are in attendance at @ClemsonFB Pro day, per @BillyM_91. #KeepPounding Getting good looks at OT Blake Miller (6’7”, 317 LBS) & OT Tristan Leigh (6’6”, 315 LBS). https://x.com/panthersbreakd/status/2032125873134936288?s=46
  13. From what I can say, Wallace will keep the green dot. I just say what I hear. lol
  14. Lloyd next to Wallace gives them two lb that can blitz well and get sacks from inside as well as better coverage so they don't have to rely on Wallace to always drop into zone, they'll be able to get him downhill attacking the los more comparatively to what they did last year. Also adding Philips means Scranton sees less double teams and should open him up as a pass rusher and allows them to bring Princely on the field on obvious passing downs to rush the passer because they can move Phillips down onto the line in those situations. So on obvious passing downs the front seven will probably look like this majority of the time. Edge - Scourton Dt - Philips NT- Brown Dt - Wharton Edge - Umanmielen/Jones ILB - Lloyd ILB - Wallace
  15. "Awful" seems a bit hyperbolic. He has made plays at times. He's just "awful" in coverage.
  16. Davidson win tonight will put me up 2 units. Also teams playing in the Europa League suck cock
  17. Again, it's the Jets. They went into the season with Justin Fields as their answer at QB. Sure you want to base your stance on their personnel decisions. Plus don't they still have Adonai Mitchell and Isaiah Williams? Believe it or not, the Jets had a better WR room than Carolina.
  18. But you’re still ignoring my point in that post. If he’s our 3rd best WR like you think, then he’d be the 2nd best on the Jets and they decided not to give the RFA tender to him, which would have kept him there on the cheap. To me that says everything
  19. That and WRs that are where they're supposed to be, when they're supposed to be there. Talent/ability aside, I think we downplay how difficult it was to go into last season with such an inexperienced group. WRs and TEs were probably the youngest groups on the team.
  20. Competition in our WR room is good no matter how you want to look at it. That will be very beneficial in camp. Now if we can only get consistently better ball placement
  21. I'm not really calling Metchie great. I'm calling Carolina's WR room let's just say limited. They're light on speed and shifty WRs. He brings physical attributes and a play style the room needs, and has needed for some time. Can he do it at a high level? We don't know that yet. But right now he's better than anybody else on the roster at that role. And overall better than anybody not named McMillian or Coker. Admittedly, not a particularly high bar to clear. And he's a better option than a 5th or 6th round WR they may try to draft to fill that role. He's a vet that should have an easier time picking up a new playbook, and he already has played a couple of years with the starting QB.
  22. Iirc decker asked to be released due to contract issues so I don’t think he’s willing to take a cheap prove it type deal
