  1. Past hour
  2. Hey....KOOL AID! I haven't seen one of those commercials since the 80's!
  3. I’m surprised Harvey has that long of odds, he has quietly put up a real nice rookie season that I didn’t even realize until last night. He has 787 yards from scrimmage and 11 TDs so far this year, if he ends up with 1k total yards and 12 or 13 TDs, he might be a real contender for the award.
  4. All I wanted was meaningful games in December. It's exciting to look forward to games again.
  5. It would be interesting if we could sign Willis to backup Young, but I have a feeling he could end up on a team that might be willing to roll the dice on him or at least give him a chance in a QB competition (perhaps Miami when they cut Tua?).
  6. Pivoting away from our game for a minute and putting on my tin foil hat, our good friend Clete Blakeman from SB50 made news this past Sunday. https://www.outkick.com/sports/chiefs-titans-ending-rigged-nfl-penalty-flag-sports-betting Essentially, the refs called a BS flag to prevent the game from going over the total, which interestingly enough, had the majority of the public money. I'd love for someone to deep dive how often the public wins with Clete officiating.
  7. Not to mention, only Lamar played on his 5th year. The other recent drafted QBs with the same team were given an extension around this time during the offseason. Bryce playing on the 5th year is not the likely scenario based on recent history.
  8. One thing I didn’t consider is how thin this draft is at quarterback. That’s going to drive up the market for backups and borderline starters like Willis, Jones, and Jameis Winston. Because of that, we’ll most likely be priced out of the market for this tier of backup.
  9. We've already beat the #1 seed twice, why not one more? (Packers and Rams were both #1 seed at the time we played)
  10. My determination has come down to this. Based on recent QB history, has Bryce's improvement warranted 50m per season? Lamar is the only original team QB to play on his 5th year. The others took major deals at the end of the 3rd, before or just after the option was signed. Chances are, we're getting asked for the same. I haven't rooted for Bryce to fail. I've rooted for him to succeed so big that them signing that extension would give me no worries about our future at QB at all. We haven't seen that level of play consistently that this year. We haven't seen it in the past 6 games. We're about to be at a threshold with Bryce and I worry about what this front office will do. We have a history of bad decision making and Morgan has been part of that group making those decisions. I don't want Carolina in the same boat Arizona and Miami are right now. It has nothing to with being right. It has to do with wanting to win for more than a single season. We've never had back to back winning seasons. Faith in their abilities is not warranted at this point.
  11. Tepper haters are grasping for straws at this point
  12. Bearing Seattle is absolutely something this team can do, but you're also right they can lose to anyone, so who knows.
  13. I think you're right. He's apparently had 5 TDs in the last five games. If he tacks on another two or three and totals over 1k, especially if we win the division, I feel like he gets it.
  14. it's also nice to have our highlights near the top of the NFL recap shows rather than shoved into the final 2 minutes. I'm sure the graphics departments were racing to dust off the Panthers logo collection after years of non-use.
  15. said it before: last season, we were the happiest 5-12 fanbase vs other teams at the same record. We saw the potential and ended the season on an upswing. There was hope of what could come
  16. and we're building an environment that those on the outside looking in could legitimately say, "i want to play for/with THESE guys".
  17. I don’t know why I thought he had 5. He really should have it locked up if he can keep it up same pace as past few weeks
  18. Not a fan of Arthur Blank wandering the sidelines during a game, or pushing his star quarterback around in a wheelchair. During the game, stay up in the suite and enjoy what the people you've hired to do, do what they do
