He did, and I don’t have any idea why I said not as fast, lol As what I meant was not as physical, because that’s what people wish he did more like Evans because of his size, and I’ve said his agility is surprising for a guy his size and it’s why he leans on that than being physical.

The Bengals went from 4-11-1 in 2020 to the SB in 2021. The Lions just missed the 2022 playoffs and then had what, a 20 point lead at halftime of the NFC Championship in 2023 and then a 1 seed in 2024. I’m literally living in today’s NFL reality. If Bryce is the guy, then we’re not all that far off right now. We have the OL, we have the RBs, and we have the WRs. We need a season for all our young weapons and Bryce to get to know each other and another offseason of building the defense up and I think we have real potential. This is a year for building, next year is a year for contending. Now, if Bryce isn’t the guy, we’re gonna suck and be drafting a new QB next year anyways.

Well, the Niners just doomed themselves to mediocrity

We all know Cam suffered career derailing shoulder injuries. If you've been around for awhile you should realize that the Panthers forum becomes a catch all football forum in the off-season But hey, building strawmen and resorting to ad hominem attacks has been a fall back tactic when losing arguments since before the Internet even existed. LOL Nice username by the way. That aged well. -

Great series. Hellebuyck played way better than I expected this game. -
Yes. Nobody saw this coming---however, I thought TMac was faster than Evans in the 40---Evans ran a 4.53....

Honestly don't think it was that good of a save. The guy had a wide open net to shoot at and shot it in the bottom middle -
And only the fans who can't see anything other than black or white think like this. Did I one time mention tanking or trying to lose on purpose? No, I explicitly said the opposite, that we show great growth and just lose some close games. I'm not asking them to lose or even try to lose, nothing of the sort. Do you want to feel good about some wins or playoff appearances or do you want to win a Super Bowl? Because while I'm sick of losing and not making the playoffs, I'm more sick of never having won a SB and I don't care about anything other than that right now. For me, as a fan, I'm going to root for them every week, but I can objectively step back and know we're not contending this year, if we make the playoffs it's squeaking in and then losing the first game. So I'm able to objectively look at it and know it's in our best interests to be better this year, win a few more games, but still just miss out on the playoffs and hope we finish in 3rd place because the Bucs and Falcons made the playoffs. If you can't OBJECTIVELY see how that sets us up to have a better 2026 season when we actually might be good enough to contend, then that's a you problem, sorry.

Holy goaltending Oettinger -
I was thinking the same thing. Also, change from the stupid numbers to balls with team name or logo on it. Each team have a designated player to drop their teams balls into the hopper. Furst team drops 5, next team drops 3 and 3rd team drops 2. Then have some lucky fan pull the balls. Televise the whole thing and make millions.

This is a league-wide issue with how quarterbacks are valued. Not everyone can be a top-five QB, but teams can still win with someone in the mid-tier. As long as your QB is better than average, he’s going to get paid like one of the best. This isn’t just a Bryce Young problem; it’s a challenge for every team with a decent quarterback. -
In the NFL draft, talent is often evenly spread outside of the top few picks. For example, Tet McMillan could’ve gone at No. 8 or the mid first and Walker was projected as high as No. 4 but ended up going No. 15. Since top-tier talent can still be available later, it’s almost always better to make the playoffs than to chase a slightly higher draft pick.

The goal the Stars player scored after his father died yesterday is proof that good things happen. Very cool. Very heartwarming -

We were all noobs at one point. I know i annoyed the poo out of my friends in college. I lived next door to the club hockey team at State. These guys lived and breathed hockey. I would come over and watch games, constantly saying dumb poo like "how is that not a penalty?" Or, "just shoot the fuging puck!" Almost 20 years later and half a state away, I still say all those dumb things and annoy my friends. But, now it's because I live and breath hockey! Enjoy the ride. But, be careful, it'll hook ya! -

I’m rooting for the Jets but I did put a dollar on a Rantanen hat trick.
