  1. Past hour
  2. On the radio they made it seem like he's out cause it's a back to back
  3. Is white hurt again or just a back to back rest game?
  4. With Schoen and Dan Morgan being tight I’d figure we knew this was coming and since he is released, Dan didn’t bite. But, a quick search says this is at least 80% cap related. They have No cap space and save 8 or 9 million with releasing him. He has been a captain his entire time there. 145 tackles this year. They are picking 5th with a new staff and looking at Styles. Hitting that age 30 season and had a disc issue last year (meaning 2024) that did not require surgery. I haven’t really watched him play but he activated the antennae.
  5. OK, we are letting our top RB go. We have Chuba, Etienne, and Brooks. Imagine a player who could LEGITIMATELY play the slot and back up at RB? I am sure he'd be a special team player as well. I noticed him at the combine, and thought, "Here is a late rounder who could stand out as a slot and provide depth at RB. Without further ado....(I know one Huddler who might be able to tell us more about this guy): Navy running back/wide receiver Eli Heidenreich headlined the 2026 NFL Combine for the Midshipmen, running an official 4.44-second 40-yard dash and recording 16 reps on the bench press. Recognized as a versatile, "Swiss army knife" offensive weapon, Heidenreich solidified his draft stock as a potential day three target. Eli Heidenreich (RB/WR - Navy) 2026 Combine Performance: 6'0" 200 lbs. 40-Yard Dash: 4.44 seconds. 10-Yard Split: 1.55 seconds. Vertical Jump: 35.5 inches. Broad Jump: 10' 0". Bench Press: 16 Reps. Highlights: Showcased as a premier receiving threat from the backfield, having left Navy as the program's all-time leader in receiving yards (1,994). High character. Smart. Maybe, just maybe....
  6. These refs are horrible. They definitely got money on this game lol.
  7. I don’t think the concept is bad thinking. That money this year is a ball buster, for getting nothing out of it. gives him a little future location security and maybe hope that if he can get back we’ll pay him, with a renegotiation. Could give us some relief this year. That is kind of creative.
  8. 5-1 without Caleb Wilson and we were without both Wilson and Veesaar against NC State in their Super Bowl in the loss. I'll take it. Hell yeah I'll take it.
  9. I wonder how high he might be on their list. Played against him twice this year so they will know if they like him, that way.
  10. Today
  11. Hornets on fire in the 3rd against the Mavericks
  12. Based on the Burns offer we know the Rams will get aggressive. Hard to pass on something like 13 and a 27 2nd.
  13. I thought I saw where all the Tackles were projected to be right tackles in the NFL.
  14. Correct this logic I might if it meant taking his guaranteed money now and spread it over 3 years (2026-2028) and maybe add $6m. I am not sure you can do that, or that he would do it, but it would be a way for him to extend his career and bank accounts and we would be getting him for $6m for 2 years (if healthy), basically, since his entire salary is guaranteed now. If not, we lose an additional $6m spread over 2 years. So let's say his guaranteed $$ for 2026 is $18m. Give him a $24m contract ($8m per) through 2028. Worst case: We get $10m in cap relief now and create $3m dead cap for 2 years (2027-8). Best case? We get cap relief now and a good/decent guard/tackle for 2 years (2027-2028) and the total salary per year when he is active would be $12m if you don't count any money for the season he cannot play. That is a good value, and we'd basically be getting a 50% discount rate. Since we have so much guaranteed now, extending him is not as crazy as it seems. Something has to be wrong with this logic...
  15. I don't disagree about Nikishin's potential availability, but Hamilton as a replacement? Not an upgrade in my book.
  16. I like him, and would be hesitant but that could be our Icky replacement. It would be a gift from above. So it won’t happen… but I would say yes I accept. What really pushes it into ‘go’ for me is the concussions. It could be a situation where we are unloading a problem, vs keeping one.
  17. Too late. You owe me a flat screen lol. He will be a mystery to us and himself for quite some time yet. Hell his 5th year is guaranteed and he won’t be giving any of it back. Nearly 16 million. I think. If he doesn’t return to form he can retire very damned luxuriously on 10-12 million or whatever he gets to keep after taxes and agent cut. We aren’t fuging him, let’s don’t fug ourselves.
  18. It's a win/win. He would do better with the Rams, and we would do better w/ the no. 13+ picks.
  19. 100%, I would stay far away from him
  20. given our luck and history would it surprise anyone that Icky has played his last down as a Panther? And this is coming from probably the biggest icky fan on this board
  21. Nope. Can't do it until we see how he looks after his injury. It's a big one. One that routinely derails careers.
