If we can't get a couple of wins in the next few weeks, we could be in contention for the #1 overall pick. After week 5 our schedule gets absolutely brutal for the remainder of the season save the Saints games.
-
Not glossing over anything, but also not making excuses to try and explain away when Bryce played well. That's just as dishonest as the flipside.
-
Not sure how you can be serious and have XL in the 53 going forward. I don't know where Tremayne came from but he has earned more snaps.
-
The funny thing is he used to be a complete Cam homer. This is what he has allowed himself to be reduced to. Simping for the most milquetoast QB we've ever seen.
-
You had a chance to win the game. Had some penalties go our way to keep it alive. And you couldn’t get it done. The QB, coaching and team failed. But in those situations, it really does fall on the QB. The best can March us right down field. He can’t outrun a 39 y/o Calais Campbell
-
His "game winning drives": The only two where he actually had TDs had the same thing in common. We were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.
-
I’m so surprised that the 30 or so passes near or behind the line of scrimmage didn’t materialize into a W for us.
-
Bryce's stat padding ain't fooling me. He remains to be one of the worst starting QBs in NFL history when the game matters, and the stats and eye test back that up. When he has 50 yards going into the half yet again next week, I don't want to hear anybody trying to validate.
-
And get what for him exactly? Might get a 5th. They're going to keep playing him good or bad. I'd like to see this whole group with a different QB before making a decision.
-
You are just a Bryce super homer. You can't see anything due to those blinders.
-
We don't have just 1 good receiver - we have 2. Renfrow looks decent. He's getting open. T-Mac is better than good, IMO. And Sanders was good at finding holes in the middle. As to the middle... That's great and all, but then we ignore the very clear pattern we're seeing in his play. Will he turn the corner? I doubt it. But maybe he will, he'll get a chance against a division rival soon.
-
I feel you on these!! I think the common denominator is Bryce when it's been 3plus playcallers. He handicaps play callers so bad bc he can't attack deep consistently. Rarely do we have 2 high safety looks vs us.

CRA started following NextGen Checkdown Chart - week 2
-
Who loved that little 5 yard dig he ran... put a little inside fake on the corner, spins out side picks up the first and trucks the safety. This kid is exciting guys
-
Who would bite? Maybe KC would take a shot at him? Their WRs look awful. I can't imagine anyone would give us much of anything. I'd rather replace him in the lineup with Coker and try him out as a gadget player poor man's Cordarelle Patterson before trading him for practically nothing which is likely what he'd fetch.

Carolina Cajun started following 2nd 2 Point Call Attempt
-
what. the. fug. was that call? Rico Dowdle....I dont mind saying "fug it, we're running"....but you went with the guy who hasnt proven JACK poo here as opposed to the guy you paid to run the fuging ball? I cannot believe the call and was one of the most bullshit calls of the game.

At the end of the day, I saw my team live up to the motto " Keep Pounding" and although we didn't get that magical comeback story legends are made from, it was at our grasp, and that right there is a feeling I didn't know could exist at half down by 24pts. So, ATL is a must win, or the season over. The time is now, take all the disrespect and get angry for god's sake Canales, learn from your mentor Carroll and go smash a whiteboard.
-
Maybe his supporting staff is ass because of the QB. Works both ways.
-
He's got 6 game winning drive brother. Again, I'm not saying he's a top 10 QB in the league. But this is an overreaction. The whole team is not as good as you think it is.
-
how is negative two yards with 8 targets even possible
Eazy-E replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m going to withhold judgment on the entire offense until I see another QB under center. -
When yall gonna admit that Derrick Brown is not a game changer . Not even close to one . Don’t get sacks nor TFLs . He just be out there
-
We don't have an offense, period. Well, there is some sparks here and there. I'll stay loyal to the Panthers but will watch a good football game and keep up with the Panthers highlights.
-
Xavier Legette. 8 Targets for -2 Receiving Yards
strato replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have been unable to watch the games but if what I hear about lack of effort is correct I have no sympathy. I hate it, because I have family from that area and was pulling for him, but that doesn’t fly -
My observations: WR group: McMillan is legit, Renfrow is the #2. They value Tremayne’s size. XL has problems. Bryce: Did fine once he calmed down but can’t handle pressure. Reminds me of Darnold here and in NY except he can’t push the ball downfield. Every drive has to be 10+ plays. Defense: Slightly better. Went from historically terrible to just terrible. OL: Moton looks really slow. Would be interested to see what his PFF grade is the first two weeks. Run game: Looks like they have Hubbard on a pitch count to save him for later in the season. Coaching: Actually saw Canales get animated and pissed off a few times which I haven’t seen before.
