  1. Past hour
  2. If we're taking a super senior I've got a guy that's a fuging dog
  3. XL is a prime example to bring back the wonderlic test
  4. Are you suggesting taking Joey Aguilar at #1 overall?
  5. I don't get the criticism. If its for past performance, so be it. But the defense played fairly well today. Completely shut down the Cardinals run game, and Murray didn't have a great game passing. Offensive Turnovers and poor clock management at the end of the first half killed us.
  6. lmao. yeah lets take a guy First overall who got 0 D 1 offers.
  7. That sucks. I hate injuries whether a guy is good or not or even on our team. Injuries just suck.
  8. Of all QB"s you want a journeyman super senior whose 24?
  9. Let's compare his stats to our Practice Squad's stats at the end of the year then talk.
  10. In 18 games, XL has only 337 more yards than T-Mac has in 2 games, and on 42 more catches. 42 more catches for T-Mac at his current average would give him another 641 yards.
  11. Young is small with little hands and the ball pops out easily. Our offense moves very slowly or not at all. Our defense is well below average. The season is over as far as making the playoffs is concerned obviously. No reason to hope for a playoff birth imo. Can we win 5 games? Maybe.
  12. Yeah his arm was hanging. I give him mad props for getting to the sideline and no making us waste our last time out. Tough mother fuger
  13. I think they had to agree to be all in for two seasons, and that is why the 2024 draft went like it did. I really think the common sense picks at our slots were off the table because they wouldn’t immediately benefit him. The Brooks pick was strange but he is supposed to be so go at catching balls out of the backfield and I think they very much wanted that in the offense. If people recall, it was said he was expected to be ready for camp. I think. The center we needed, well look at Bryce try to set protections. I don’t think they wanted to rely on a rookie being a key man. Wallace was just a bad pick. Highest defensive pick in like three years then, and it was a mistake. I wasn’t against him then but his shortcomings were obvious last year when he got on the field. So wonder why the defense is so bad…. they took all the FA money and all the picks from the D for two years and when they did throw them a draft bone they he was a liability.
  14. The D did play well enough to still win this game. They made a lot of plays. The Cards also had plenty of negative plays and long distances from holding calls. The fact that they were having to hold is a good sign I guess. As far as Rozeboom and Scott.. You have to adapt your scheme if you want to keep them in. Nick Scott was playing so far off the line in his Cover 3 that he already makes no impact. Most every team in the league trying to battle Mahomes are running 2 Deep or Cover 2. Arizona ended the game with 2 deep and man and Bryce couldn't figure it out.
  15. Sounds like he knew it was bad. Corbett did too postgame.
  16. You used the reason of the two of them being out on the final drive why Bryce struggled. My point was they both were in for the entire first half and Bryce still looked like poo.
  17. I saw him walk off off right in front of me. Looked torn bicep to me
  18. Compare Campbells and Browns salaries. 24 million vs 2 million. We need him to be a Jalen Carter/ Chris Jones player consistently. I've hardly noticed him so far in the two games.
  19. Evaluating quarterbacks is incredibly complex, which is why we see so many busts. It’s a combination of factors, and even then, you're trying to project how someone will evolve under pressure in a system that may not suit them. At a fundamental level, a QB has to clear a baseline of physical and mental traits. Bryce Young, for example, doesn’t convincingly clear either. Physically, you need size, arm strength and functional accuracy. Mentally, you need processing speed, adaptability, and the ability to operate under pressure. Even if a QB is in the wrong scheme - Rich Gannon in an Air Coryell system, for instance - you should still see flashes that indicate he’s an NFL-caliber quarterback. Scheme fit is one of two key factors that can elevate a QB’s performance. The other is how they mentally approach the game. And that’s the hardest part to quantify during the draft process. The elite QBs know where every player—offence and defence—is supposed to be on any given play, and they can adjust when things break down. The very best are obsessive about film study and mechanics. Brady flew in his personal QB coach during the season to fine-tune his footwork. Brees completely rebuilt his throwing motion after shoulder surgery. That level of dedication separates the good from the great.
  20. I'll accept evidence to the contrary but my personal best estimation is that Tepper has realized he doesn't know poo about football and turned over the keys. Unfortunately for all of us, 7 years too late.
  21. I can't agree with on that one. Bryce has not matured as he should have. I'm ready to let him go.
  22. They were down 7 before getting on the field.
  23. And the Panthers were marketing him like that this off-season too. The only problem is that he's an athlete who sucks at playing football.
  24. It won't be this early in the season if ever. More than likely we will let him play out his final year of his contract and not resign him.
