  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah, it was such an insanely luxury pick. You know what makes it look so much more insanely bad? Rico Dowdle. So we get one of the most productive RB's in the NFL for pennies on a one year deal. So why was it necessary to draft an injured RB again? Just Panthers poo.
  3. Yeah, I was on that bandwagon as well. I liked Egbuka and Burden as my other top guys at WR. I will say, as good as some of the WR's in this class has been, the TE class has really lived up to the hype. There are a BUNCH of impact rookies at TE.
  4. Lmao imagine tank dell playing with Bryce Literally would not be able to see him.
  5. Alright so Tepper is to blame for the situation. Reich didn’t want Young. What a god damn horrible situation for a rookie QB to walk into then Houston had the 2nd overall pick… but they had one hell of an offseason. They hire DeMeco Ryans. Hire Bobby Slowik. Trade up for Will Anderson after drafting CJ Stroud. They also drafted Tank Dell. They sign Danielle Hunter. They sign Dalton Shultz (we tried to sign Shultz he said no and we gave the contract we offered Shultz to Hayden Hurst). The year prior they drafted Stingley and Pitre. So many of you miss the bigger picture with so much of this stuff
  6. Yeah, I will wager the instances of teams making the playoffs with negative point differentials are quite small statistically. It just makes sense. If you are rarely outscoring other teams....well....that means you lose a lot.
  7. Same. I'm very protective of our uniforms. They are already the best in the game. I do like the new black helmet though. Im okay with color changes. I just don't really care for big design changes. Not needed at all.
  8. He has produced okay statistically. He appears to not be interested in being in Buffalo or possibly the NFL.
  9. He better watch out!! Davis Mills shorting the distance.. lol... Using 4 down stats is stretching it a little.. good Qbs stay ahead of the chains..
  10. For me, it's because we needed a center, Frazier was sitting there, and we traded up for an injured RB that wasn't ready for TC as promised, or the season opener, then until mid season, then has another tear and is out all of year 2. Year 3 we hope he'll be back, but just judging by his history, that's no guarantee. We drafted Etienne so who knows if he's in the future plans or if he's just another Eric Shelton. With so many needs on this team, taking an injured RB was a luxury pick we didn't have the luxury to make. I have nothing against the guy, don't know him. Hope he does come back and can contribute. At this point, my angst is with the FO, not Brooks. It's just another one of those times when the lowly Huddle was right, again. It just gets old, and really seems to be a pattern under Tepper.
  11. You were driving the train---and rightfully so being a UArizona alum, and you have received and deserve your candy and flowers---but you weren't the only one on board.
  12. This isnt some fantasy nerd stat. This is common sense scoring information.
  13. The situation here was the doing of David Tepper. Frank Reich didn't want Young, he wanted Stroud. Stroud fit his QB mold better than Young. So yeah, he didn't design an offense for him. He was lied to by his boss and he didn't want to be here. Would you? It sucks for Young, but as I said, that has nothing to do with his terrible footwork, poor mechanics, his shitty drop backs, fumble issues, not bothering to look off the Atlanta safety that turned into a pick 6 by his own admission. Those were all things that had nothing to do with Frank, the OL or the rest of the team. And Houston wasn't a complete team. They had the 2nd pick in the draft because they sucked. They built a team and had a damn good HC that I wanted here but he refused Tepper's interview. Young has been protected in ways no other QB has. Dalton has been kept because he has never been a threat to take the job from Young. We signed him to a 2 year deal this offseason when it was clearly evident we needed an upgrade. For 2m more per year we could have and should have looked at Brissett if we didn't go after Howell, Russell, Winston or anyone else. Anyone else other than Dalton would have been a serious risk to take Young's starting job. If Young hadn't been the 1st overall pick, and been a day 3 pick instead, he would have been cut as a rookie. If he were on any other team as a starter, this message board would be laughing like hell at whoever was starting him for 3 years. That's why this team gets murdered when Young doesn't play. He's been sheltered from ever having to worry about his job and the QB room proves it. I've been extremely critical of how this team has been constructed the past 3 years, especially on offense. But this whole narrative that Bryce has always been good enough and it's everyone else's fault that he's not succeeding isn't matching up to what he's been putting on the field week in and week out.
  14. He sucks to be honest. He hasn't made much of a difference at all.
  15. This is one of the worst scenarios statistically imaginable to pull out the "stats are for losers." This may go down as an all-time worst call. Let me show you. Super Bowl Winners Point Differential Over 100: 45 (76.3%) 50-100: 12 (20.3%) 0-49: 1 (1.7%) Negative: 1 (1.7%) Both the 0-49 and Negative instances were Eli Manning and the NY Giants.
  16. So now it’s a referendum on 4th down conversions. You win.
  17. You do end up having to choose between those guys though. It's a great problem to have, but you gotta pick the right guys. Look at the Bengals.
  18. The hit rate around that area is statistically around the same as the rest of the 1st round. Its just the hit rate is dubious even at the highest level of the draft. At least its a cheaper contract when you take a guy there.
  19. I loved Coleman as a player but at the end of the day if the guy doesn't want to put in the work and can't at least show up to meetings on time he ain't gonna make it. Doesn't matter how good he is on the field.
  20. Not sure I trust all these sites. Take week 1. Bryce went 0-2 as a passer on 4th down. He went for it a 3rd time and got picked with a horrific throw......and got bailed out and given a 1st down due to contact away from the play on Renfrow. Dude took 2 sacks on 4th down on Sunday. I don't have the energy to go through the play logs.
  21. Today
  22. Of course Bryce should get credit for game-winning drives. Regardless of how we came to need a game-winning drive, most of the time he has been put in that situation he has come through for us.
  23. That's true. I remember people simping hard for some of these guys that I was wary of. Coleman, XL and Worthy being amongst those. Seems like we are on this streak of small, fast Texass WR's that are just better versions of John Ross. Worthy, Golden, etc. Never saw the fascination once you looked past the 40 times and tape of them catching wide open passes in college.
