  1. Past hour
  2. This plus if these idiots we have couldn't utilize Chinn (who ended up being the player everyone thought Simmons would be) they sure as heck cant use this guy whose never been anything.
  3. The entire episode is hilarious. Mike Davis is funny af.
  4. Typical college coach bs. All of our current problems have been a butterfly effect of hiring that egostistical douchebag and giving him way too much power for way too long.
  5. I mean Prime SS89 is gonna weight those early Delhomme years to being our best weapons regardless, TMac is the first WR we've had who can potentially be that kind of player.
  6. Apparently, Rams fans are pissed about him never getting a fair shot because he had a calf injury (cleared now) early in camp.
  7. I would be surprised if we pick up more than 3. I see 1 ILB, 1 Safety and maybe K. I just have a feeling Canales is not totally sold on Fitzgerald.
  8. Basically Rhule had CMC doing full-speed, goal line drills in OTAs coming off injury. Pretty much explains why CMC wanted to be traded and further illustrates how stupid Rhule was as a coach. This actually makes me somewhat appreciate what Canales is doing as far as preserving and players’ health as much as possible.
  9. What’s the excuse in season three with two consecutive first round WRs drafted and hundreds of millions invested on the offensive line? And two 1000 yard backs to hand off the ball to?
  10. Link to article Seven players mentioned are... ILB Mark Robinson (PIT) - 2022 seventh round pick that was a core special teams player and was productive in the final preseason game vs. CAR (3 TKLs, 1 FF, 1 FR). Undersized at 5'11" 235 lbs. CB O'Donnell Fortune (NYG) - UDFA rookie out of South Carolina (and a Sumter native). 6'1", 185lbs frame fits the Panthers' preference for long and lanky CBs. Panthers' evaluators got a lot of time with him during the Shrine Bowl, his pro day, and the combine. CB Damarri Mathis (DEN) - 2022 fourth-round pick that played for Evero his rookie season at 5'11" 195lbs both inside and outside. Did well under Evero (16 games, 11 starts, 65 TKLs, 7 PBUs) but slid down the depth chart after he left. Started just seven of 27 games the last two seasons. DB Dean Clark (NYJ) - Fresno State UDFA with good size (6'1" 205lbs) and preseason production (5 TKLs, 1 INT, 2 PBUs) that can also play special teams. The Panthers have claimed a player from the Jets in each of the past two seasons (having also played the Jets both times in preseason though). OLB Brennan Jackson (LAR) - 2024 fifth-rounder that notched three sacks in the preseason. Played special teams and rotated in on defense that could potentially be an upgrade from DJ Johnson. DB Beau Brade (BAL) - 2024 UDFA that appeared in 11 games and played 70% of the special teams snaps. Has the size (6'0" 209lbs) that the team covets at safety. K Ben Sauls (PIT) - 24yrs old and went four-for-four against Carolina in preseason. Made 21 of 24 FGs during his final college season at Pitt.
  11. The most recent claim was August 13 https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/transactions/_/start/2025-07-27/end/2025-08-27/type/claimed
  12. what time do waiver requests get announced?
  13. Today
  14. We're 8th in the pecking order? Basically, same order as the draft.
  15. Whether a player is waived or released comes down to how much experience they have accrued in the NFL. Veteran players who have at least four accrued seasons are outright released. They instantly become a free agent and are free to sign with any team.
  16. I'm never not amazed at how bad FItter was at his job lol
  17. if Cam wasn't Cam, he wouldn't be Cam
  18. That's better. So, I assume those players that have already been claimed were released before the deadline?
  19. I think you're making the opposite of the argument you're trying to.
  20. Cam was also 6'5" 255 with a cannon of an arm and elite athleticism. That's why he was so good. If he was 5'10" 180 with a weak arm and below average athleticism....it wouldn't have worked out no matter who his supporting cast was.
  21. Waiver claims are processed and announced at 10 a.m. ET (9 a.m. CT) on the Wednesday following the NFL's Tuesday 4 p.m. ET, 53-man roster cutdown deadline. This gives teams a roughly 18-hour window after the deadline to submit their waiver claims. Players who are not claimed by a team by this deadline are eligible to be signed to a practice squad.
  22. That depth chart is full of holes and who?s. Lord, I hope there's a plan.
  23. I am a bit surprised that we have not made any moves to pick up anyone from other rosters. We are thin, at best, in a couple of positions, especially defense. I cannot remember the last time we dropped to 53 that we didn't make any moves.
