A quick recap: November 30 at 1pm our situation was: The Bucs are a full game ahead of us, PLUS holding the current tiebreaker, PLUS having the easiest remaining schedule imaginable. We've just had a humiliating defeat, lost our winning record, and are walking into a "guaranteed loss" against the NFL's best team. After stepping through the bye week looking glass, we get to walk into our next game knowing: A win will mean that, even in the worst case scenarios, we are assured of still being in the playoff race through the last game of the season. We're tied with the bucs... No, wait! We're a game ahead of the bucs... No, wait! We're a game ahead PLUS holding the current tiebreaker. Yeah, I'll take a bye like that anytime.

I wont crack a smile unless we beat the aints this weekend.

Bryce hasn't been pushing the ball downfield in a lot of wins. I think that's basically how lose games. Asking that of him. Not sure why people want to lose a game we can win with the proven hide Bryce most of the game and win ugly approach. and people sort of skew the Rams came up. he did not push the ball downfield nor was he asked in that game. It was the same thing as the Saints game. There were just 2 random 4th all or nothing plays that present take shot gambles

Can we get those post game plus minus stats again? I don’t know where to look.

Is everyone ok with winning the division and keeping BY as our starter next year? Or do we want to just miss winning the division and have someone else at QB1 next year? It can't be both, and I just don't like the idea of BY long term.

The focus of criticism the first game was not pushing it downfield to prevent NO from stacking the box.

Last game was 23 rushes and 25 passes. Thats balanced. The criticism was not going downfield.

If we win the next 2... we locked up the division. Another note, if we beat the Seahawks, the 49ers could move up to the 5th wildcard spot. So atm, those 2 teams would be the match-up but it's still a bunch of scenarios to go.

He is just so weird. Bryce Young makes no sense. I still don't like the word inconsistent because that's not it. I do think there is a lot of consistency in what he is. I don't know. and in theory, I think Bryce should be better indoors. But his indoor games are so slim even that is hard to figure out. As good as he has been in Atlanta, he is equally bad in the Saints dome.

Yup unless you're in a dome... Bryce is pretty good in domes, lol. But I do agree on sticking with the run.

Def not looking past the Aints but man, BOA is gonna be lit for the Bucs game on the 21st.

and in a lot of games, executing and coming back has involved being willing to stick w/ the run a fair amount on 3rd down. I just think the formula is pretty clear at this point. Maybe 2 or 3 real throws. That's really all you are wanting to ask of Bryce and you want them to be favorable. Anything more? Generally makes it a bad plan.

Kannapolis is a cool town. Their downtown is looking nice around the ballpark / main street. The biggest issue is the generational poverty in the area. The entire flavor or safety of an area can change street to street. I hate that, but they are trying to improve things. The Gem is a great, cheap, movie theatre. The updates to the AV experience are great. I love Kannapolis, but the biggest issues is pulling the rest of the population out of poverty to starve the criminals of new recruits for gangs and drug dealers.

I think you need to stick with the run but you also need plays to execute on 3rd and 4th down. It will come down to Bryce.

A well coached team would be disciplined and learn from their past mistakes. We’ll see what Dave gets from his guys on Sunday.

Let's just win out and leave nothing to chance. I think Canales has been dialing in on the right recipe. If he can keep pounding the run game and Bryce can take advantage when there's an opening for a mid- to long- ball, we can be a strong ball control offense. Couple that with a defense that is getting stronger on all fronts and well... I'm hoping for it. This is a scrappy, resilient football team... and it's been years since we've seen that here. It's time or us to be the mouse that roared.

For me, at this point, win the division or lose, this season is going to be a good learning experience for both Canales and the team. 90% of the guys in our team have never been in this position of tasting success, so hopefully it’ll make them hungrier.

Panthers could clinch the division hosting the Bucs in week 16. I need the Bank ROCKING for that one!

I'd rather them come out pumped up and commit a couple of dumb penalties early than come out limpdick like they did last time because the whole team started sniffing their own farts.
