  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah, he wore powder blue on Saturdays when he was in college. So the people that crucify Bryce on here are using Bryce-stan style arguments for why Howell hasn't succeeded. Good stuff, really.
  3. Bills run defense is ranked 30th. Panthers should do well there.
  4. Let’s roll the dice on Kirk Cousins. They obviously aren’t playing him in Atlanta. If he plays good enough we have a QB for a few more years and avoid drafting another lost cause.
  5. It’s this type of delusional thinking that has this board thinking any QB could come here and succeed. And bringing up Andy’s passing stats when 33 of those yards came on the final play when the Jets were playing the run is a choice. Both of Andy’s deep balls were horribly under thrown. Had he given TMac a chance maybe the ref would’ve called PI but that ball was so bad the ref wasn’t bailing him out
  6. Today
  7. The short to intermediate routes. Kinda the exact opposite of Cam in his prime.
  8. In fairness, it was into a wind that was gusting 15-20 mph. I didn't like the call or the throw, but it worked.
  9. Yeah I’m not saying Bryce is better. Just Dalton isn’t better at this point in his career.
  10. Don't think we could win this with Young either.
  11. Dallas, Atlanta, and Miami also have better offenses than the Jets.
  12. He impresses at dinner parties, knows his salad fork from dinner fork.
  13. He's getting better at recovering his weekly fumbles
  14. He's good at getting in and out of the huddle and making his checks at the line and being on schedule. Decent when the play breaks down. Struggles downfield.
  15. We would be incredibly hard to beat if we could find a way to get a down field passing game to compliment the run game. Now that the defense has settled in. I was concerned about dealing with a running QB and they handled that well.
  16. Another delusional take keep up the good work
  17. I'll do both good and bad. Good Plays very well off schedule can make plays happen with his feet when needed Pretty good out of pocket on throws when he remembers his feet Meh Average athleticism Average to below average arm talent Bad Size / frame Footwork and mechanics (this is really his biggest flaw that's fixable)
  18. Yes average or slightly below average, his biggest problem is his footwork. He doesn't use proper footwork all the time. When he does he can throw the ball 55-60 yards air yards and do it accurately. It's just he hardly ever uses proper footwork and lower body mechanics so it's not seen very often.
  19. They have coddled him up to this date lol. They brought in zero competition this offseason. He obviously needs to be pushed at a competition level but it's just been him as the starter and Dalton laying back getting paid as the emergency backup. I wouldn't run a qb room like that personally
  20. If Bryce is out I'll like to see what Dalton can do with this offense the last time he was called up he didnt have much to work with. A disgruntled Diontae Johnson and old man Theilen. We have the deepest receiver room we've had in a long time. Some good young TE's. And strong rushing attack with Rico (should be Rb1) and Chuba. Good offensive line depth. Say what you want when Dalton came in the passing game started pushing the ball down the field, not so much with Bryce. Young stats: 15-25 for 138 yards and his two longest pass plays went to Chuba for 26 yards and Rico for 17 yards. Dalton stats: 4-7 for 60 yards he eclipsed almost half of Youngs yardage in just 4 pass completions. We have outside weapons we need to be able to keep defenses honest in order to make this offense work.
  21. He excels at being a complimentary piece for our offense and a centerpiece for the opposing defense.
