  2. Not seeing much news on Twitter today. Gonna see if there's relevant stuff articles and videos when things clear up.
  3. Alabama has no business being ranked. My top-25: 01. Ohio State 02. Penn State 03. Georgia 04. LSU 05. Texas 06. Miami 07. Clemson 08. Oregon 09. Notre Dame 10. Michigan 11. Illinois 12. South Carolina 13. Florida State 14. Arizona State 15. Tennessee 16. Florida 17. Iowa State 18. SMU 19. Texas A&M 20. Ole Miss 21. Oklahoma 22. Tulane 23. TCU 24. USF 25. Navy
  4. The passage of time has clearly made for some hazy memories around here. And getting hung up on who is better is missing the point. You can get what 37 year old Dalton brings to the table (ugly turnovers) for considerably less than the 9th highest paid backup of 2025. The reality is the Panthers are simply paying players like Dalton based on personal feeling versus on the field merit. That's a bad way to do business and it's never worked for this franchise. And it's the way losing franchises operate.
  5. Alabama will be 2-4 and still ranked. The rankings are so incredibly fugged up, they need complete demolition and reinvention.

  7. New CFB AP and Coach's poll 2025 College Football Rankings - ESPN FSU with the biggest move up. Unranked to #14. Bama down 13 spots to #21
  8. DC seems soft to me. The team just never looks all that prepared. I expect a slow start. Maybe they pick up a bit towards the end like last year.
  9. They just traded Pickett which is a more capable than aged Dalton at this point, you know the bat being so incredibly low. Naw, going to keep making fun of Dalton since he will have to play at some point and it will be funny as hell to me.
  10. it would be awesome to see Horn shadow BTJ. But odds are at like 1%.
  11. Except they have shown nothing of Brown starting at NT and still have Wharton listed as the starter XD
  12. man, I really dislike LSU's Brian Kelly. Makes Shane Beamer look like Joe Cool.
  13. LOL what QB on that team is better then Dalton except Flacco? Bunch rookies that looked like bums and Zappe? Y'all need to get off it. And thank God the Panthers didn't waste draft picks on QB in the lower rounds, we got a whole roster to fill out.
  14. I'd like the defense to be different and take the Jags off guard. It was puzzling what we did in preseason, so I am hoping that they just were vanilla and didn't put forth effort. With D. Brown, B. Brown and Moehrig, we should focus on completely shutting down the run. They aren't going to improve that much on defense from last year, but with those three additions, they should at least focus on stopping either the run or pass instead of letting both be terrible
  15. Today
  16. Hulu +Live: $88.78 Amazon Prime: $16.00 (w/FanDuel: $36.12) Apple TV+: $10.66 Netflix:$26.68 Is all still $80 less per month than what I was paying for DirecTV when I gave it up a few years ago.
  17. I just don't know that he has the time to turn it around at his age. His age is going to be a major strike against him in the recruiting trail and it's just a tough row to hoe to turn a football program around. One good recruiting class can turn around a basketball team. Hell, one individual recruit can turna around a basketball team - Carmelo Anthony basically won a national championship single handedly at Syracuse. Cam at Auburn is the only college who even comes close to that type of impact off the top of my head. A good recruiting class is 2-3 years down the road from significantly impacting a college football program... if you can actually keep them around. The instant impact is in the portal but everyone else is chasing those guys too. If I was building a college program, I'd focus almost exclusively on the trenches starting out. To me, that's the big difference in college. The better teams dominate the trenches. There's just a LOT more talent disparity at the college level than there is the NFL level. The worst teams in the NFL are still full of guys who were all conference or all American at the college level. The gap between the best team in the NFL and the tenth best team in the NFL is pretty small. A couple of plays might be the difference. The #1 team in the country is probably going to be a 10 point favorite over the #10 team at the college level. The gap on talent between the #1 team and the #32 team is a massive gulf. The #1 team's backups would be competitive against the #32 team. I just don't know if Belichick after a career in the NFL was prepared for the level of talent disparity he was going to face.
  18. I wouldn't drop David Moore, honestly. Moore, while long in the tooth and light in production, is about the only veteran presence in the WR room now and the only one with extensive experience with what Canales wants and needs. And that's probably why he made the roster. Still, aging safeties who might make a decent gunner just aren't where you want to spend your money and roster spots. Even at vet minimum, he's not going to be as cheap or maybe as trainable as some UDFA who would run through a brick wall for a roster spot for rookie league minimum and a chance.
  19. The time it takes to turn them around isn't likely to be hit by a 73 year old.
  20. The "student" part has historically beeen a farce for revenue athletes.
  21. Glad to hear the Hooker was signed on the PS.
  22. But it should have been expected. He could have retired after Brady left and his legacy would be secure. But he just couldn't do it. And coaching college is a world of difference than coaching in the NFL. That being said, he could still turn it around. But I doubt having him will ever get UNC to the heights they expected when they signed him.
  23. You mean a should be retired #2 and raiding other team's cast offs for a PS guy isn't the same as drafting 2 guys in one year while having other guys who could be our #2 without breaking a sweat isn’t the same thing? It's embarrassing seeing the Broens be better run....then again after the Watson fiasco they needed some get right.
  24. I thought his sidekick ruins the show.
