  1. Past hour
  2. Hurricanes would have a problem against this Flyers team.
  3. Giants are definitely going WR. Might see multiple off the board before 19.

  5. For better or worse the front office will want to give LaMelo one more season. Coby is actually quite clutch. He was everything I expected him to be when we traded for him. Huge upgrade over Colin Sexton. He basically saved us against the Heat. I have no idea if he will actually want to sign here long term though.
  6. they have pick 5 and 10....this not considered a great draft with 10 to 12 players with 1st round trades, but looks like they'll get 2 of them. Or they could trade back for significant capital
  7. wow, pick #10 traded for Lawrence https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/2045660038488817698
  8. I've got no issues bringing him in as an udfa. Doesn't really cost us anything other than a roster spot. I'm just hoping we get serious about improving our QB room.
  9. You left off the beginning of that reply by Gantt. Why the heck is there still an offensive lineman in the mock draft, Kenyon Sadiq or KC Concepcion, or Ahkeem Mesidor, all the way!!!! — Niko, Phoenix, AZ Those are all valid thoughts, but so are all the tackles you keep seeing pop up in the mock drafts, and there's a reason for that. Partially because that's a perennial need for good teams, no matter how good your starters are. And partially because there's a good amount of really good offensive linemen in this year's class. For the Panthers in particular, there's actually a reasonable case for getting younger up front, and the temptation of a first-round tackle is real. Taylor Moton's still playing the kind of football that merited an extension last year, but he's 32. On the other side, you have Rasheed Walker and Ikem Ekwonu on one-year deals, and Ekwonu's also coming back from a torn patellar tendon. Even inside, Robert Hunt and Damien Lewis are in their prime years, but Hunt's turning 30 this year, and Lewis is 29. So much of what the Panthers are going to do next week isn't dictated by their preference, but by what happens above them. That's another benefit of not getting locked into need. For instance, if you're thinking you want a receiver, seeing five or six of them go off the board and reacting by taking the sixth or seventh off your list instead of the first (or second or third) something else isn't necessarily wise
  10. Lol Falcons, I bet Pierce was half their grade. And no pick this year, heh.
  11. It will be pretty hard to equal the impact in the broad sense of immediate returns across the board, of last season. The higher the floor sits, the tougher it is to raise it. So in a sense last year was a lot easier than this year. We still have a few spots that are low hanging fruit. I have looked at these WRs a little bit. If we can’t get the USC kid, what is the point of 1st round WR? They either don’t really have the hands, or they are just carbon of what we already have, I don’t see the attraction. It seems to me that a lot of the BPA people are all over WR, which I believe they see as a need. It is basically incognito need drafting unless you really get a big time guy.

  13. What’s the context? That we better not let Bryce go because he will be a backup somewhere for a year and then go play .800 ball for two different teams? People can’t look at the two players and see a difference?
  14. This is a question. Could Coby White be a solid replacement for Ball? Seems he could be an upgrade. Seems he played well in replacement of Ball. I normally get the highlights and don't get to see any games but I liked when White was on on the court.
  15. Honestly, the guy does a TON of good research. His videos are always high quality and his insight is always stellar. This video however changed my mind...dramatically about the draft. Anyone who's seen my opinions knows Im a all in BPA guy, HOWEVER, this kind of changed my mind...Im now a BPA...at position of value dictated by the board. A lot of words to say, weighted average is important. We all all know that having a good qb on a rookie contract is important, but what about a good edge...or reciever...or tackle? THOSE things make a different and this opened my eyes to that. With that said, not that I think we SHOULD go receiver in the first, HOWEVER, IT DOES MAKE SENSE. If you have good young recievers coming in on rookie contracts, then you have more to build the rest of the roster at a lower cost. If we were a team loaded at Receiver then things would be different, however, we only truly have 2 reliable WRs, so would another Receiver be a bad pick...I actually dont think so now based on value going forward. Its just something to consider for everyone.
  16. Yeah, it's fool's gold. Darnold always had the tools. He just needed a tram with an elite D, a top 5 WR, and a Super Bowl MVP RB to carry him so he wouldn't be asked to press where he becomes a turnover machine. Darnold settled in once he was in a situation where he could just be a very talented game manager. People try to tell themselves Bryce can do that without realizing that Darnold still forces the D to respect the throws he can make that the coaches would rather he not attempt where as Bryce simply doesn't have the physical ability to force that respect opening up other opportunities. Like Parcells said leading up to the draft that based on his physical tool set "he better walk on water". What he was politely trying to say is that Bryce simply doesn't have an NFL physical tool set.
  17. Got home in time to see Halls goal in the 3rd. Saw replays of Staal and LeCuck dropping gloves on the faceoff loved that! Playoff Freddie entered the building woo! Hope to see the full replay on Fandual.
  18. If the Hornets are to operate as a competent franchise not content with getting drubbed in play in games anymore they will both address Center and target another shot creating playmaker. Miller and Kon are young pieces on rookie deals they aren't going anywhere. The odd man out is Miles Bridges. We need to upgrade in case LaMelo once again fails to take the next step. We cannot continue wasting anymore time embarrassing ourselves in the postseason going forward.
  19. We'll be aight once they bring in giannis
  20. We can wax poetic about needs BPA situational value philosophy and draft strategy. The onus is on the Panthers decision makers to prove they can consistently draft well. To this point they have simply not. Until then all this rhetoric like the Panthers are playing 4D chess is just hot air. Let's see them nail this draft and go from there.
  21. Freddie just showed his huge cock. First shutout round 1 game 1 in canes history.
