  1. Past hour
  2. We have much more urgent needs to use $20 million of cap space on than a WR who doesn't bring any new skill sets into the WR room. If Coker didn't have his late season breakout, then I'd be more open to considering it, but what we need is a complementary WR to him and T-Mac, a shifty speed guy, not another big body.
  3. On the wrong side of 30, coming off a gruesome leg injury......yea no thank you
  4. the trend in Carolina is not to sign veterans on the back ends of their careers. Madden players do not think about the locker room much. Real world situations? Locker room is very important.
  5. No, a lot of y'all gave Bryce all the rope in the world as a #1 overall pick that we traded the farm for that didn't meet or even come CLOSE to expectations for roughly 2 and a half years into his career. Then wanna give up on a receiver thats going into year 3 with plenty room to grow on a rookie contract... XL made mistakes, but Bryce missed him a good bit throughout the year as well.
  6. Yesterday
  7. I'd rather just release XL straight up than give another WR 20 million to be the 3rd WR.
  8. I was thinking the same, I doubt he comes here for that reason. I doubt either Tyreek Hill or Chubb become panthers
  9. Hmm, good question. Let’s see, he’s 32 and coming off of an ACL tear in September. He’s likely never going to have the speed again that made him great. Also he’s a narcissistic piece of poo who would totally demand targets and stunt the development of Coker and Tet. He would be a major toxic presence in the locker room and he would make Bryce cry and look for a safe space. Nothing could go wrong at all, nothing.
  10. Not a bad option. He's the type of WR we need, good speed and can create after the catch.
  11. Of course what could go wrong, he makes plays and scores touchdowns as he's done his entire career.
  12. I think street FAs can discuss whenever, but the the deal can't be finalized until the new year begins. Chubb will listen to offers, I doubt he's going to go to the first team that contacts his agent.
  13. Chubb has the Evero connection and maybe likes NC from his time in Raleigh. He's 1000% someone we should be looking at.
  14. Yeah I briefly considered that. So what is the deal with this? League year starts March 11th. Legal tampering with FAs allowed I think the 9th. Assuming there can be no trades until the league year starts, but if a guy is released he is fair game right now?
  15. No thanks. Not worth the hassle or money at this point IMO.
  16. Tepper, on the other hand... Remember, the Browns were the only team to outbid us for DeShaun Watson.
  17. Yeah this is the more interesting proposition. Fortunately I don’t think we have to worry about Morgan being sucked into Tyreek Hill’s soap opera.
  18. My choosing between I don't think this would be a good idea to hell know but leaning heavily to the latter.
  19. I don't think going from noodle arm to noodle arm is something he wants to do. Also he's human garbage I do not want him anywhere near tmac and coker
  20. I don’t think paying out 20mil gets us 20mil of production back Shari g balls with the two we already have and the QB we have throwing to them. I am trying to picture Legette outside of the Carolinas. Lol.
  21. Guys, we aren't getting a Day1 Edge guy this draft. That means even if we do dip back into that well, it's another project. We already have two from last draft. We need a veteran guy with gas left in the tank. Chubb fits that billing. At this point in his career, Hill is more of a distraction than a solid contributor.
  22. They released Bradley Chubb too which we should definitely be looking at.
  23. Incredible value and if the bus delivers, he’ll get locked up even more
  24. Sounds like a great way to tank the development of Tmac and Coker.
