As I stated in another thread, I think Carolina trades down to acquire another pick. They really like Jrod and will use that pick to move up to the top of the 2nd or the bottom of the 1st to draft him. They wont use pick #19 on Jrod. Its gonna be a combo of WR/Jrod. Houston would be good canidate, Carolina gets pick #28 and #59, Houston gets #19. Carolinas pick 51 and 59 is enough to move back into the first.

popular opinion seems to indicate panthers taking Sadiq or Theienman, but I cant find a indication we have met with either of them. Not just talking top 30, but prodays, combine, zoom, etc. I might have missed it and things like a zoom might not be announced always. But, what are odds Morgan would choose someone he hasnt spoken with? Does anyone know of a meeting?

What is the team going to do? Make the pick, and see if you know what Dan Morgan is thinking.

We really need a blue chip RD 1-2 type DT. Late round guy would be redundant with 25 year old Bobby Brown and a 23 year old Cam Jackson. Blue chipper or sign DJ Reader after the draft.

Seen the latest? The Athletic just wrote that he may be getting pre trial intervention and can get all charges dropped if he completes it, 6 months of behaving himself. Didn’t even need to get to the victim blaming. I don’t know how to paste a link from their app but it is there. Probably elsewhere too.

It just feels like flailing to keep going after WRs but I guess it makes sense with Canales’s background? I was thrilled when we took Tet instead of Walker but I really don’t see WR/TE moving the needle next year.

XL might be a better player than KC Concepcion. Let that sink in. Easily the most overrated prospect in this class. I hope we're not stupid enough to draft him. But if we do I'll hope like hell I'm wrong and root for the guy.

We should use him like Mccaffrey. Line him up all over the field.

We can use him to run QB sneaks. Versatility. I like it.

Get on the PP. Ottawa is one of the most penalized teams in the league with one of the worst PKs in the league. If only the refs will call the penalties.

I took up for A’Shawn a few times, for some reason people did not appreciate him. I am a fan of his work, and would be a fan of replacing him with the 1st round pick if there is not a viable OT sitting there. I think it should be a higher priority than WR or TE or just about anything. It is what’s up front that counts the most when you play good teams. IMO. Either side of the ball.

We don’t necessarily need to use our first to improve that though. I feel like you want near term viability, like this year sometime, you need to take T with your highest pick. Man oh man. I hope they have one decent brain cell that tells them to wait until after the year to decide on an extension.

This. Good teams find slot receivers in the mid to late rounds and that's what we need.

I just see us extending Bryce with a ton of guaranteed money and then I see him sucking in 2026--and then we have to draft a QB in 2027. I guess that is the plan--
