Tmac apologies for using questionable word on live stream.

It just hasn't hit the mainstream radar yet. If it goes viral best believe it'll be mostly gatekeepers taking issue. A lot of black folks have a zero tolerance policy on people who don't identify as black using it. I live in the Bronx where you have a lot Fat Joe types who throw it around as part of the culture here so I get it, and locker rooms are usually politically incorrect for comraderie's sake, but letting non-black people use it is crazy to most of the country in the same way that a confederate flag means "I miss slavery" to anyone not from the South. -

As a white dude that grew up playing sports and in locker rooms my entire life no one really cares except people that blow everything out of proportion. I’ve used that term to my teammates and they have used it towards me, with the “a” it’s more brotherly than derogatory and everyone in that locker room knows that. People these days just find everything and anything to be upset about. Besides, who doesn’t love singing Karaoke to Nelly? -
Panthers have a Jalen Coker problem.

Regarding Coker, there is no problem. Assuming he stays healthy, He will likely be signed when the time comes. - Today

It's more impressive when you have one or two of the guys have an off game or get in foul trouble (Miller) but the rest of the team picks it up. They believe in themselves. Hats off to coaching too. What a fun team to watch. Can't wait to get Colby out there too.

Only because Smitty should have already been in, but Fitz is 2nd all time in catches and yards, he's a 1st ballot HOFer, so Fitz getting in over Smitty this year isn't a problem. The HOF is going to be missing out on some worthy WRs for a while, possibly until after their eligibility is up and they end up being senior committee selections. There is such a backlog of guys who should have gotten in, and at some point in the not too distant future, they'll start to be passed on the yards list by guys getting an extra game and playing in a much more pass happy league. Add in the new rules they made, and any non clear cut first ballot WR is going to struggle to get in right now.

Cam would get in for a number of reasons, not just his 2015 season. He in some ways revolutionized the game and was an icon for a generation of future athletes. His dual-threat capability along with his unique mix of imposing size and agility forced teams to put more emphasis on big, running QBs -- whereas if he were in the 2003 draft, John Fox would've considered him at TE in the third round.

The crowning achievement of the best player to ever wear a Carolina Panthers jersey. So proud of Luke. I'm working on plans to make a road trip to Canton this summer. Haven't been to the hall in about five years, and even in 2021 I'd vowed that if Luke were inducted, I'd be there for it. I was at his first pro game (preseason vs. Texans) where he recovered a fumble, I saw his first INT in person, saw his 24-tackle game against the Saints in person, saw his first pick-six in the playoffs in person, and plenty more.

Hard to say tbh. If cam does get in it definitely won't be first ballot. Speaking as objectively as I could. He had some very unique talents and skills, won ROY , MVP, had a 15-1 season, and brought the Panthers to a SB. But he doesn't have much else beyond that. He doesn't have the career longevity that most QBs do that go in the hall. Doesnt have the stats or the rings either. So Cam getting in would be super reliant on his 2015 season, where he LOST the Super Bowl in. Add in the fact that Cam is a somewhat controversial player that a number of fans of other teams and media talking heads dont like or have mixed opinions on. Him getting in the HoF would be hard, IMO. If he'd either have won the SB in 2015 or had like 5 more years of 2017/2018 (pre shoulder injury) performances, he would have a very solid shot.

Overrated? Sure, in most years his season isn't winning OROY because there would have been a QB who had a good enough season to win the award, and most WRs who win it put up more yards than him. But also remember, passing was down league wide this year, you always have to look at a players' season through that lens too. Again, look at where he finished the year compared to the rest of the league 14th in Yards (13th among WRs) 15th in TDs (11th among WRs) 10th in 20+ yard receptions 10th in 40+ yard receptions 7th in 1st Down receptions (6th among WRs) 19th in YPC (but 8th among players with 40+ rec) He was a Top 15 WR as a rookie on an offense that ranked 26th in passing this year. How do you say that player is "overrated"?!?!
