  1. Past hour
  2. Part fluff, part insight into the draft and FA, as well as some interviews with Luke and Dan.
  3. Tepper may have been influential in the first rounds but if you go back to the team’s draft footage, it was always Fitterer or Rhule telling Tepper who they were about to take and him nodding or clapping about it.
  4. Remember in the 2020 draft Justin Jefferson was the fifth receiver selected. Henry Ruggs, Jalen Reagor, and Jerry Jeudy were selected ahead of him. Every year there are WR's selected high who bust. Nobody really knows, not even NFL scouts. XL could absolutely be better than either Marvin Harrion, Nabers or Rome.
  5. Today
  6. It was so refreshing seeing no penalty called watching this live as the Bruin wouldn’t let the stick go. The ref pointed at them after the hit, and it felt like the ref was just saying you got what you deserved for holding his stick.
  7. knowing how this team works, johnson will have a TD week one but Theilen will continue to be force fed, Mingo and Legette will have little impact on the offense, and they'll continue to trot out Miles Sanders to run for a yard every down then punt. It's worse than John Fox era.
  8. how is it changing your mind? you've seen nothing of the product on the field. WE SAID THE SAME THING LAST YEAR
  9. grass ain't always greener. people hated on Hurney and Ron like they slapped their mama. It's easier to do worse than NFL average than it is better.
  10. McAvoy putting shoulder and elbow into Kampf's head, drawing blood from the nose- no call.
  11. This was nice to see a no-call on, though. It should have been holding the stick (not called), and then Boston fans wanted a call for roughing or boarding.
  12. Yep. Nylander, Matthews and Marner got into it on the bench during game 3. Nylander, before last night, hadn't scored in 14 games or something ridiculous.
  13. No practice today. Media availabilities in an hour. I assume they practice before travel tomorrow.
  14. I don't know if he needed a surgeon back there. The gunslinger aspect aids WRs too. Think he just needed a more pass happy O. I mean, imagine if he got the target % Brandon Marshall or Andre Johnson or Calvin were getting in their primes. Bigger target difference between 89 and some other WRs from that era. I mean, you get to the point, 89 was rounding down to 100 targets and some were rounding up to near almost 200 a season.
  15. the national/canada hockey media are a bunch of fuging clowns when it comes to reporting about the canes, why does any canes fan still even read into any of that crap to any degree?
  16. Oh yeah the QB is huge in this stuff. Imagine what Smitty could have done with a surgeon back there. And some more offensive minded head coaches. It was always run heavy. He was one of the best I ever saw and people didn’t know who he was outside of Carolina, for the longest time.
  17. For sure, any college scout that touted Bryce Young as worth the first overall pick, needs to be gone. I don’t think the college scouts are so much the issue, I think it is the minds of the decision makers that have the most influence. If this draft produces, and Morgan was really in charge, maybe Tepper will develop some respect and stay back and let people work.
  18. I just am not aware of regimens that offer increased velocity which is the biggest weakness I can see in Young (that needs addressing right now). Is it possible to do? Who has done it that we can see as an example? I guess I am saying before I believe weights will give him added zip on the ball, I would want proof that it works. I think weight room would help him not be pulled down by two fingers, even if they are big strong DL fingers. They are still fingers controlling 185 lbs. So that needs to be addressed but it is a secondary issue behind his footwork and ball velocity. It might help too, in allowing him to retain some velocity while not putting 100% effort into throws. Which should help his ‘deep’ ball. I agree they can’t fix his footwork on those pistol or gun snaps where he slowly goes backwards and does the tippy toe thing. Maybe putting him under center and taking the option of that type of drop away from him, forcing him into the classic under center style. Drop and plant and throw. Maybe that would help get around it.
  19. Okay and? Legette's career likely won't be with just one QB if Bryce doesn't improve.
  20. Yeah I don't know who will be the best, and I can assure anyone that hype will not make them the best. Legette will play with a decent QB (not saying that it's going to be Young) and will be playing amid decent weapons---NFL-caliber receivers and what looks to be a decent O-line. Circumstances do make a difference. Honestly, you had so many guys this year who could turn out being the best of the class. You don't earn that honor during the draft.
  21. Marty always brought in at least 1 franchise player every draft. We've been struggling to even bring in bottom of the roster draft talent since the fhule/shitterer combo
  22. It actually was and that was with Ovechkin not even attempting to play hockey.
  23. Yep playoffs stats don't count towards that! He had 0 goals 0 assists for 0 points in the Rags series and it wasn't because they took him out of the game he took himself out..... 5 shots on goal 8 shot attempts IN FOUR GAMES.
  24. Their series was a lot closer than people think. Some 1 goal games. They just have the overall talent. we do.
