  1. If it gave you a chuckle, that's the point, dude. You must not get my sense of humor. There's a difference between the critical crowd and "open letter to the owner/I hope we lose" crowd. Just like there's a difference in the crowd that wants to do their best to be optimistic and the "blindly sunshine and rainbows" crowd. If me poking a little fun at the constant bitching crowd makes me comes off as a prick, I can live with that, but even you can probably see the irony in you being the one to point it out.
  2. I didn't realize that you were one of those that made open letter to the owner threads. I apologize if I hurt you feelings. I will add though, that if you believe that the billionaire owner of an NFL franchise is going to make a decision based on message board complaints, there's a chance that you aren't as smart as you think you are. The premise of the thread is simple; let's discuss if our putrid offense is doing anything good that they might can expand upon. I threw a little sarcasm in there that offended your delicate sensibilities, and for that, again I apologize.
  3. It would be a great redemption story and a lot of huddlers' heads would explode. Not going to bet my next paycheck on it though.
  4. Unlike all the crybabies that want us to lose so that they can write juvenile open letters to David Tepper, I'm trying to remain hopeful here. Can our offense turn it around? Can the OL gel? Can Baker get it together? Give me a few reasons to think it's a possibility. Also, is Darnold still alive? Is he even on the sidelines? Bonus points if you can explain to me why our secondary sucks and is reverting to a Rivera soft zone.
  5. No, you forgot. Training camp reps. Remember?
  6. Is there any QB out there without a built in excuse?
  7. Pssshhh. Next you'll be telling us that good teams usually have good QBs and bad teams usually don't. Hogwarsh.
  8. I know the Saints were supposed to be ok this year, but they’re not. One decent showing from our defense against an offense that is really struggling does not mean we are ready to be a contender.
  9. How is Brady Christiansen looking at guard? Is Ickey showing some good with the bad? Why is our secondary looking worse?
  10. Beating the Saints is always a good thing
  11. If they lose Sunday I'll implement the DVR tape delay technique i.e. "daylight salvage time". It seems to come earlier every year.
  12. Will Newton ask, "inperceivable says much about things, do you agree?"
  13. "Not good say much no have good time." Jesus Christ, man. This is your career.
  14. Not a great addiction to have when you're middle aged. If it's really about football, shame on her for not being willing to wait another year or two.
  15. Robbiey needs to learn when not to say anything. He's not 100% wrong, but he needs to realize that sports is one thing that most grown ups allow themselves to be totally juvenile and irrational about.
  16. Not drafting Fields is the one correct call of the Rhule era. Way to go, Matt.
  17. No. He doesn't. That's the problem. All this time, I assumed "the process" was a thought out team building philosophy that he wouldn't dare telegraph to the league but you would see signs of it. For example, I thought his "process" must be, fix defense first, then OL, then get young QB. Makes, sense, right? A good defense is a QBs best friend, plus who would want to destroy a young QB behind a bad line? That's what the Jets do. Turns out "the process" is "try to get one percent better every day!!!" Rah rah, cheerleader bullshit. He had no plan. When he was hired, there was all this talk of analytics and sports science. I've seen no evidence of any of this.
  18. I think after Luck ducked us to get his spine smashed in Indy, they probably wouldn’t be that foolish
  19. Yeah, that would be an improvement, but I think keeping Rhule is our best chance at a top draft pick.
  20. I wish no one ever tried to shoehorn the term "lame duck" into the NFL. He's not even halfway through his contract, and a good season salvages his job. Matt Rhule is many things. A lame duck is not one of them.
  21. One thing I liked about Rhule early on was that he seemed really adaptable. Now he and Snow seem to be ignoring the failures and instead of learning from it, stubbornly digging in.
  22. I’ve tried to be patient. I’ve seen enough of the Matt Rhule era.
