  1. Don't forget... Filterer built the wall and he's going to make the Falcons pay for it. Very cool!
  2. No chance. Lots of threads between now and draft night but we're taking Stroud at 1.
  3. Indeed sir. There is literally zero consideration for AR top 10. Personally I don't think either he or Levis go in the 1st. Short memories forget that plenty of people not employed by an NFL team thought guys like Corral and Willis would go in the 1st last year.
  4. If we had this staff with Cam the Panthers would have 2 Lombardis. We have another swing. I'm 95% it's Stroud but if they're in, I'm in. LFG!!!
  5. Put on the Bad Company... "Smile and wave goodbye..."
  6. Derail but no GMs are entertaining AR in the top 10, only fans on message boards
  7. In general fans discount the value of letting teams in front of you make mistakes. Plus, when's the last time a team traded up to the top 5 and got a generational QB? I believe the answer is never
  8. There was only 1 drafted in the first. True. Mocks everywhere? More than 1. Were there people quite serious on this board about us needing to take Malik Willis at 6? Yes. Yes there were. Here's one amusing one. https://www.nfl.com/news/four-round-2022-nfl-mock-draft-1-0-qbs-malik-willis-kenny-pickett-go-top-three
  9. Pre-draft? Sure. You don't settle for 3. You go get 3 because you can't believe your luck that your guy is still there.
  10. Teams drafting in the top 10, most often, don't have an elite QB. That has been the case for a long time, not just this year. Bad teams make bad decisions. There will be mistakes made ahead of us. Take advantage at a cost of something less than 3 years of number ones. Everyone here wants a QB.
  11. You don't think the teams that made those deals thought that's what they were doing?
  12. Not saying it can't work, but interesting to me that trades into the top 5 just haven't worked: Darnold, Wentz, RG3, Trubisky, Goff. If "our guy" is still there at 6 or 7, that's a dramatic difference in draft capital from 1-3. Go get him
  13. From class clown to valedictorian in one offseason I see you Dave.
  14. Richardson is definitely the dude you'll hear about endlessly here but not going in the first
  15. Greg comes across as a genuine dude who happens to be incredibly knowledgeable about football. Brady will not connect with people in the same way.
  16. If he's part of a package to move up to 1 i.e. he's a more desired asset than an additional 1 or 2 first rounders?
  17. The argument is about what it would take to get into the top 2 or 3 and whether it worth it. For the highest in Josh Allen at 7, the Bills ultimately traded 2 2s and an OT that didn't work out for the Bengals to move from 21 to 7. The Ravens traded down 2nds and 6ths. Not what we're talking about here. Compare that to the 49ers giving up 2 firsts and a third to get Lance at 3. You think any of these guys merit that kind of capital?
  18. I'm all for taking a 1st round QB but I think there's a lesson in some of the big moves that have failed: Trubisky and Lance for example. Let's see who's left at 9 rather than trade a bunch of 1s and 2s. It can happen: Allen at 7, Mahomes at 10, Lamar at 32. Winning teams that waited.
